Chapter 1 - Sw itch ; Dim ensions

"I should kill myself."

A boy said quietly to himself, standing next to the railing of a bridge that went on forever into the gray sky. It was raining hard, and each drop felt like tiny needles hitting his skin while his school uniform stuck to his body, completely soaked and making everything feel much heavier than normal. The weight wasn't just from the water—it was from everything, from this terrible world that had taken everything away from him. He looked down at the dark water below, watching the small waves form and disappear in the heavy rain.

"Mother... why did you leave me..?"

His body tipped over the cold metal railing of the bridge, and gravity pulled him down as he fell incredibly fast toward the moving water below. The feeling of wind hitting his face was sharp and final—something that would only happen once and never again. His last clear thought was a mix of sadness and relief as the ground rushed up to meet him.

A loud, dull splash echoed through the rain as his body hit the water with terrible force, breaking his spine and many bones throughout his body in an instant. Death came quickly and mercifully, giving him exactly what he wanted—a painless escape from his bitter life. The dark waters swallowed him completely, ending his pain forever.

"Its not like anyone would miss me anyways."

―So, this is what dying feels like? Cold, lonely, and frustrating? How funny.

He found himself laughing at how weird it all was, floating in what felt like endless space with his earthly senses left far behind. The feeling was strange and weightless, like drifting through emptiness where time didn't matter. It was quite the experience for someone who had never felt anything beyond the boring world of school and suffering.

―Dying without losing my virginity... well, I'm now the most unlucky man in existence.

"Hm?" He said as a bright, white light suddenly appeared in front of him, cutting through the darkness like a beacon. His body still wouldn't listen to his commands, leaving him helpless as the light got brighter and brighter, moving closer with each passing moment. The brightness was almost blinding, making him wonder if this was the famous tunnel everyone talked about.

He closed his eyes tight, trying not to be overwhelmed by the brilliant light—but when he woke up, he found himself being held in the gentle hands of a beautiful woman. Her touch was warm and soft, completely different from the cold emptiness he'd just experienced. The difference was so shocking that for a moment, he wondered if he was dreaming.

―What... the fucking bullshitty-fuck-ass-shit is this..?

Looking up at the woman holding him, she looked exactly like a maid straight out of the fantasy anime he'd been watching just days before his death. The typical black and white cute maid uniform was clean and perfectly fitted, leaving no doubt about what her job was. Her short, wavy orange hair framed a face that belonged in a magazine, while her sexy body and incredibly soft hands were everything any man could dream of.

―So, you're telling me... the 'Light at the end of the tunnel,' was literally the exit from a female vagina..? Pretty shocking news there, universe.

"D-doctor Maria... h-he's not crying... is Ryn okay?"

He managed to turn his tiny head toward the source of that goddess-like voice, and what he saw nearly broke his baby brain. The woman lying on the bed was beyond beautiful—she had long, silky white hair that fell over the pillows like liquid moonlight, along with curves that would make any man weak in the knees. Her sharp, smart eyes held a motherly warmth that he'd never felt before, and he finally understood why his new father had chosen her.

―GOD HELL! This is my mother?!

He screamed in his thoughts, completely shocked by the sheer perfection of the woman who had given birth to him. Her beauty was the kind that started wars and inspired poets, yet here she was looking at him with nothing but pure, unconditional love. It was overwhelming in the best possible way.

"No worries Miss Ophelia! Some children don't cry when they're born!"

Maria, the doctor-maid, replied with a professional smile that managed to be both reassuring and warm as she checked on both mother and child. Her voice carried the confidence of someone who had delivered countless babies, putting the new mother's fears to rest. The atmosphere in the room was one of pure joy and celebration.

―Lord, thank you for reincarnating me into this world of beautiful—MEN!?

"DARLING! OH MY GOD! IT'S LITTLE RYN!?"

He jerked his head toward the sudden, booming voice and felt his jaw drop at the sheer masculine perfection that walked through the door. The man was muscular in all the right ways—not like some crazy steroid-fueled bodybuilder, but with just enough muscle to make any woman swoon. His black hair was cut in a trendy curtain mullet that somehow managed to look both casual and devastatingly handsome at the same time.

―Ryn... that must be my new name, huh?

The thought hit him like a truck as his tiny brain tried to process all the sudden information being dumped on him. Everything was happening so fast, yet somehow it all felt right in a way his previous life never had. This was his chance to start over, to be someone completely different.

"Here you go, Sir Jan."

Maria carefully held out her arms and handed Ryn over to the man who was obviously his new father, her movements practiced and gentle. The change from her soft hands to his father's strong grip was smooth, showing just how experienced everyone was with newborns. Ryn found himself looking up into eyes that sparkled with pure fatherly pride and joy.

"Rynan!"

"Say dada!"

"Darling... he's still a newborn..." Ophelia laughed softly, covering her mouth with both delicate hands while her eyes closed in amusement. Her voice was filled with gentle humor as she watched her husband's eager attempts to get their son to speak. The love between them was obvious and warm, filling the entire room with happiness.

―Dad. You... are an actual man.

"You are gonna become a great Mage when you grow up, I just know it!" Jan exclaimed, tickling Ryn on the stomach with gentle fingers. His voice was full of excitement and pride as he imagined all the amazing things his son would accomplish. The tickling was light and playful, clearly meant to make the baby laugh.

―I'm supposed to laugh... right?

Ryn tilted his head, confused about what he was supposed to do in this situation. Everything was so new and different from his previous life that he wasn't sure how to react. The love and attention felt foreign but wonderful at the same time.

"Ahbbskaajn... EHEHEHEHWHWHEWHSJSJEJEJJEJSSBEBWJ"

Ryn's fake laugh came out weirdly and late, but the calm, friendly atmosphere in the air didn't change at all. Everyone in the room continued to smile and coo over him, making him finally feel like he was needed and wanted for the first time in either of his lives. The warmth of their acceptance washed over him like a gentle wave.

―This isn't half bad. With Mages and magic here... it's kind of exciting.
