Chapter 1 - Blushes and Bitemarks #1

Typhoon's POV

Today was PFah's last exam. I was waiting for him outside the exam hall with Ter and North. He'd mentioned that he would have a whole month off and wouldn't need to study much. He'd been so busy during exam time that he barely had time to eat. If I hadn't forced him to eat, he probably would've skipped meals altogether.

Last night, he told me how excited he was for the holiday and how he wanted to spend all his time with me. That made me really happy, but I couldn't help the hide the blush that crept up on my face. PFah loves to tease me, and I knew he was doing it on purpose.

After a while, PFah walked out of the building with PHill, PJohan, and PArthit. As soon as he spotted me, he immediately came over and hugged me. PHill and PJohan did the same with Ter and North.

"Get a room, y'all. And I never expected it from you, Fah." PArthit said in amusement

PFah just smirked at him which annoyed PArthit.

"Phoon, let's go get lunch," PFah said, pulling me away from the group. I nodded in reply.

"See you tonight," PJohan said to everyone.

PFah nodded, he took my hand as we started walking toward the car.

------

After we got into the car, I asked, "PFah, where are you going tonight?"

"Johan wants to celebrate now that exams are over."

"Oh. What time are you going?"

"We'll leave around 8—and you're coming with me, North and Ter will be there too. It's just us three and our partners."

"…Okay then."

PFah turned on some soft music, tapping the steering wheel in rhythm. I looked at him and smiled to myself—this was the first time in weeks I'd seen him look so relaxed.

"Feels weird seeing you not buried in textbooks," I said, gazing out the window.

PFah chuckled. "Feels weird not being buried in textbooks. My hands keep reaching for my notes out of habit."

"Well, no wonder."

"I deserve a reward for all my hard work," he said with a teasing tone.

"We're getting lunch. Isn't that a reward?"

He whined, "That's not a real reward. A reward is like… a hug and a kiss or something more from my cat." I blushed slightly at this. Why does he like teasing me?

"You already hugged me in front of everyone. Isn't that enough?"

"That wasn't for you, it was a small celebration for me" he said with a playful grin.

"Huh?"

"You know… hugging the person I missed the most. Seemed like the perfect way to end exam stress."

No, no, no. Please don't do this. Why are you flirting like this? It's dangerous for my heart.

"Oh." I didn't know what to say, so I just stared out the window.

Tonfah's POV

Finally, exams were over. I'd missed spending time with my Phoon. We were going out for lunch after so long, and honestly, I couldn't be happier. My Phoon is so sweet—he always reminded me to eat and even bought me food to my desk during exams. Why does he have to be so sweet?

He was looking out the window, ears bright red. So flustered.

"I love it when you blush," I said playfully, reaching over to pinch his cheek.

"Don't tease me," he mumbled, clearly embarrassed.

"But it's the truth."

He hit my arm softly. He always hits people when he's flustered—but it doesn't hurt. It's more like a cat's paw. So cute.

We arrived at the restaurant shortly after.

"Sir, do you have a reservation?"

"Yes, it's under Tonfah Theerathada,"

"This way, sir."

We sat at our table and placed our order. Phoon's ears were still red.

When the food arrived, we ate quietly. Afterward, Phoon ordered cocoa—he always does. He loves it.

------

We got back home. I went to take a shower while Phoon said he wanted to take a short nap.

After I finished, I returned to the room where Phoon was already asleep. I slipped quietly beside him, sliding one hand under his head and gently holding his waist with the other. I watched the small, peaceful figure in my arms, breathing rhythmically. I couldn't sleep without hugging my cat close no matter how tired I was.

After a few minutes, I drifted off, still holding my little cat in my arms.

I woke to a soft movement—Phoon was still asleep but had stirred closer, clutching my shirt. It was already 7 p.m. We needed to get ready for dinner. My heart didn't want to wake this peacefully sleeping figure. I just want to keep holding him close to me all the time.

I just stared at him for a moment, and soon his eyes fluttered open. He looked up at me, still sleepy.

"PFah, what time is it?"

"It's about 7:15," I said.

His eyes widened. He quickly got up.

"Why didn't you wake me? Don't we have to get ready for dinner?"

I pulled him down, making him sit on my lap, and kissed him gently.

"We still have plenty of time."

"We should get ready. We shouldn't be late."

I let him go, reluctantly. I shouldn't have agreed to the dinner—it would've been more fun to stay home with my Phoon.
