Chapter 30 - Chapter 30 Meeting Mother Gaia

Soon, Mobius arrived on the Great Earth, and guided by Goddess Gaia, he quickly reached a mountainside. Upon the mountainside sat a majestic and substantial palace, exuding a profound, tranquil, and peaceful aura.

It was also filled with rich elemental energy of heaven and earth. It was as if even heaven and earth favored this place. The walls of this palace were covered with flowers, plants, trees, rivers, seas, and mountains.

At the top of the palace, different from the chaos world, a faint light flickered, seemingly praising the greatness of the palace's owner.

Indeed, She was one of the five supreme Original Gods.

Moreover, She was the first Original God to be born, so how could She not be noble? She possessed the true form that supported the entire chaos world, which was the Great Earth we stood upon! Our every move was upon Her body.

Upon arriving before the palace, Mobius bowed and said to the Nymph serving at the palace entrance, "Hello, I wish to pay my respects to Great Goddess Gaia. Please go inside and announce my arrival."

After a while, the Nymph came out, bowed to Mobius, and said to Demeter and Mobius, "Respected Lord Mobius, God of Healing and Purification. The owner of this palace, Great Goddess Gaia, invites you in and approves of your visit."

Just as Demeter and Mobius were about to enter the palace, Mobius suddenly asked the Nymph beside him with curiosity, "I want to know why even Great Goddess Gaia has Nymphs serving by Her side? Why not Gods? I imagine many Gods would be willing to serve this Great Goddess Gaia! As long as She is there, with Her protection, they wouldn't be disturbed by those greedy Gods."

The leading Nymph looked at Mobius, whose eyes were wide and sparkling with curiosity, and couldn't help but say to him, "Esteemed Lord, you must understand that the great Gods are equal before the laws of the world, and all are indispensable parts of the world's development. Although there are differences in power, their status is equal."

The Nymph continued, "Under the world's laws, all acts of deicide are forbidden. Any life that dares to infringe upon the interests of the Gods in this world will be punished by the world's laws. Even if a God kills another God, they will be punished by the world's laws."

"So, nominally, your status is equal to that of Mother Earth. Do you now understand why even Great Goddess Gaia is served by Nymphs?"

Mobius frowned. He suddenly thought, if all Gods were equal in status, differing only in power,

then what about Source Gods? If this logic held, there shouldn't be classifications like Source Gods or regional Gods. Moreover, regional divine authorities could be stripped.

Could a God whose divine authority could be stripped still be considered a God? Or was it because of his healing divine authority that he was noble?

But then, what about those subordinate Gods enfeoffed by the main Gods?

You see, many Gods had subordinate Gods, and wasn't the status of a subordinate God to serve beside the main God? Why didn't Goddess Gaia of the Great Earth have Her own subordinate Gods? Or perhaps She had them, but they were simply unseen.

Suddenly, Mobius understood. Mobius's power was different from that of the Great Goddess, and God of War Ares was also far inferior to Goddess Gaia.

Mobius had been thinking about this from his own perspective, not from Goddess Gaia's perspective. For Goddess Gaia, in the entire chaos world, only a mere three beings could threaten Her. And no other God dared to challenge Her majesty.

Therefore, for Goddess Gaia, it made little difference whether She was served by Gods or not. In fact, for Goddess Gaia, Nymphs would serve Her more carefully and diligently. If She truly liked a Nymph, She would bestow divine authority upon her, making her a God.

The so-called equality referred to among Source Gods. Every God who possessed a Source had the potential to establish a divine lineage, which was one of the differences between Source Gods and non-Source Gods.

Furthermore, noble Gods generally referred to Source Gods. Source Gods could revive in the world, while non-Source Gods could only gain eternity through the power of their divine authority, unable to revive after death.

For example, River Gods, these regional Gods, if the places they governed disappeared, then they would face death.

But Mobius had no such worries. Even if he died, he would be reborn from the Source of Healing. This was why Zeus had to imprison the Titan Gods in Tartarus Hell.

Because if he didn't, if those Titan Gods died, there would eventually be a possibility of their return, which was unacceptable to Zeus.

And Tartarus Hell symbolized annihilation. Gods imprisoned in Tartarus Hell were equivalent to death, but they could only revive within it; they would slumber there forever!

Led by the Nymph, Mobius saw a very ancient temple, without any decoration, only a simple divine throne. Behind the throne, golden liquid flowed, rising from below into the air, circulating endlessly.

Mother Earth Gaia opened Her eyes and said to Mobius with a smile, "Isn't it shocking?" She pointed to the divine throne behind Her.

"What is this!" Mobius felt a powerful aura within it. Even a wisp of this aura brought him mountain-like pressure, yet it was also very gentle.

Mother Earth Gaia said with a smile, "My dear Lord of Healing! This is a river formed from the blood left by Uranus, the first generation of God-Kings, before he fell into slumber. Do you want it? If you do, I can give you a drop of his blood, allowing you to also form such a waterfall."

Hearing Mother Earth Gaia's words, Mobius subconsciously shook his head, then nodded.

Mother Earth Gaia spoke so subtly. The blood left by Uranus, the first generation of God-Kings, before his slumber—wasn't that the blood that spurted out when his reproductive organ was severed?

Originally, Mobius didn't want such a thing, as he had no interest in seeing the blood of a male God's private parts.

However, since Aphrodite, who was born from that reproductive organ, was so powerful, a little bit of his blood should also retain his divine power!
