Synopsis
Today is my day of reckoning. Part 1: Defendant: William Lauren “Thank you for attending the trial for the case of William Lauren,” the presiding judge's voice echoed through the silent courtroom. “Today, we will conduct the trial process transparently, fairly, and in accordance with international legal principles.” The court clerk began the proceedings. “I hate this moment. Everyone is staring at me like I'm a monster.” “Who is at fault? Me or him? Who wants to take my place? No one in the world desires it. Yet they judge without mercy, initiating conflict without consent. Whom can I blame? What responsibility must I bear? If only I had never dreamed it…” Several months ago.

Chapter 1 - First Morning

Darkness.

I tried to open my eyes, but my eyelids felt heavy—as if stuck together by something cold and damp. A strange sensation crept across my skin: cold, spreading, slowly licking. As my consciousness slowly returned, one thing immediately became clear:

The surface I'm lying on is hard and cold like metal. Its touch penetrates to the bone. I try to move my hands and feet, but my body feels frozen—locked by an invisible force.

My breath catches. Not just because of the cold air, but because the touch doesn't stop. It slowly trails down my chest, sweeping over my skin with a slick, repulsive feel. The feeling that arises isn't just fear—but something darker: a mix of desire and horror that twists around me.

I'm afraid to open my eyes. But curiosity screams in my head. I have to know. I have to see.

TENGG.

I opened my eyes. And the world instantly turned into a nightmare.

She was there. A woman, kneeling over me. Her tongue licking parts of my body that no one should ever touch. Her smile... God, that smile. Like it was taken straight from the 2022 movie Smile—a smile without emotion, without soul, just obsession.

I wanted to look away, but I couldn't. My eyes were locked, as if some force was forcing me to stare at her. My body froze. Only fear pulsed wildly within me.

Then suddenly—

Srak!

Something pierced her neck. A knife.

Warm blood spurted out, soaking my face. His body fell, landing on mine like a puppet without strings. His eyes were still open. The smile hadn't faded.

With my last ounce of strength, I turned my head.

Someone was standing beside me. Thin, tall. His hair was long and tangled, his skin pale like an unburied corpse. But his eyes… red and glowing. Like embers in the dark.

He approached slowly. Silent. Breathless. Cold seeping in with him.

Until finally, our faces were only a breath apart.

Suddenly, he grabbed my face. Forced my mouth open.

And—

BLUGH!

Thick black liquid was vomited into my throat.

I choked. It felt like swallowing the rottenness of the world. The liquid was hot and bitter, spreading through my body. I wanted to die. I wanted to wake up. This was too disgusting… too impossible to accept.

As my consciousness nearly faded, it whispered—no, growled—the voice echoed directly in my mind:

"YOU BELONG TO ME!!!"

And like being thrown from a nightmare into the real world—

"AAAAAAAAA!!!"

A scream shook the walls of the simple house in the small village on the outskirts of the city. The sound came from the upstairs room, from the bed of a teenage boy who now sat up in a panic. Cold sweat drenched his body. His breath was labored. And what was most annoying...

"Why... is the bed wet?"

At that very moment—

Knock knock knock!

"Big brother! It's Hiyana, can I come in~!"

The door opened before he could answer. A little girl entered with light steps.

"BIG BROTHER WET THE BED!!! AAAAA!!!"

"HIYANA! DON'T COME IN!"

Liam instinctively pushed her out and closed the door tightly. His face turned bright red.

However, when he looked down, a confused expression crept across his face.

"Eh... this... sticky? But it's not—it's not that?"

A moment of silence. Then...

"Don't tell me last night was... a dream—EHHH!!"

Without thinking, Liam grabbed a towel and ran to the bathroom, trying to cover the lower part of his body.

Swiingg!

He ran past the kitchen, where his mother was still calmly stirring the pan, accompanied by the aroma of morning stir-fry.

"Hey, who was that just now? They ran so fast," muttered Mother casually.

Meanwhile, Father came down from upstairs, looking puzzled.

"Hiyana, you're shouting so early in the morning. What's going on?"

Hiyana was still standing in front of the room, frozen with a face as red as a boiled crab. She was still in shock.

"How's orientation going?" Dad asked, referring to her new school.

"So far... it's okay, Dad. I've already made a few friends."

She tried to answer normally, even though her mind was still in disarray. Dad couldn't know about what happened earlier...

"If anything happens, just ask your older sister. She's the student council president at that school."

That's exactly the problem... Hiyana thought, feeling hopeless.

Meanwhile, Liam stood frozen in front of the bathroom mirror.

"Why... why has my body changed like this?"

His body had transformed. He had grown taller. His muscles were perfectly defined—even his once-average stomach now showed a six-pack.

"A regular wet dream couldn't possibly cause such drastic changes, could it?!"

He slapped his own cheek, trying to shake off the crazy thoughts creeping in.

A few minutes later, Liam emerged from the bathroom wrapped only in a towel. As soon as he entered the dining room, three pairs of eyes immediately fixated on him.

Silence.

Stillness.

Time seemed to freeze.

"Why are you all staring at me like that?"

"Bro… your body is so awesome…" Hiyana murmured, still in shock.

"Mom didn't know you were working out at the gym," Mom added, amazed.

Liam could only force a stiff smile while holding his breath.

This isn't just my feeling. My body has really changed… and they all saw it.

William Louren, or more commonly known as Liam, is a teenager living in a small village on the outskirts of the city. Despite living far from the hustle and bustle of the city center, his name is quite well-known—especially within his school environment.

Liam has a younger sister named Hiyana, who always looks at him with quiet admiration. Besides being known for his good looks and calm demeanor, Liam also serves as the Student Council President at Chemintry High School, making him a respected and beloved figure among many students.

That morning, after an incident that left their house a bit chaotic, Liam and Hiyana were getting ready to go to school as usual. The small path connecting the village to the city was beginning to be filled with warm sunlight, illuminating their footsteps as they walked along the sidewalk in a calm rhythm.

Hiyana walked a little behind, occasionally glancing at her brother's back, which seemed different that morning. Liam's posture appeared more upright, his steps steady yet still carrying his signature cool aura.
