Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 {Hot Spring}

As the night wore on, Arwen and Xiao Mang found themselves at a bustling night market, the air filled with the tantalizing aroma of street food and the lively chatter of vendors and patrons. Arwen's earlier discomfort had long since faded, replaced by a sense of adventure and excitement.

Xiao Mang dragged her from stall to stall, insisting on trying every exotic delicacy in sight. Arwen laughed, her earlier annoyance at the horror movie forgotten as she indulged in the delicious treats crispy scorpions, stinky tofu, and steaming bowls of noodles.

As they wandered deeper into the market, Arwen noticed a group of handsome Chinese men eyeing them from a distance. She rolled her eyes, used to the attention her striking beauty often attracted. But something about these men gave her pause their intense gazes and muscular builds reminded her unsettlingly of the man from her dream.

Trying to shake off the uneasy feeling, Arwen turned her attention back to Xiao Mang, who was currently haggling with a vendor over a pair of colorful silk scarves. But as she did, she felt a sudden, sharp pain between her legs, causing her to double over.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes I am just…" Arwen stopped she looked up and saw large screen on a tall building showing an extremely powerful man who looked like a god of wealth.

"Um Xiao Mang who is that?" Arwen asked at the screen on the top building. Xiao Mang let out a scream.

Xiao Mang's eyes widened as she stared up at the massive screen, her face paling visibly.

"That's... that's Ye Shufen," she whispered, her voice trembling slightly.

"He's one of the most powerful and wealthy men in China. They call him the God of Wealth or god of death they are so many nicknames about him. He has thousands of billion dollar companies across the globe and his AI Star Gaze Tech Empire is worth almost hundred trillion!" Xiao Mang.

"Did you say trillions?" Arwen asked as she chewed on her noodles.

"Yes name it he most likely has a company like that private islands, jets, hotels, airplanes, airports, yachts, restaurants, other businesses, his truly a genius and he is only 27 years old the Ye Family Dynasty are extremely powerful from Thailand to all the way to Japan including of course China but they are all located in China in Beijing anyway the Ye Family Dynasty is massive so always power struggle and they are also military people so yeah his a young general as well image that power," Xiao Mang said as if she was day dreaming about Ye Shufen. Arwen sighed no way she has only been in China…we'll never! So there is no way she knows that man.

Arwen couldn't help but feel a sense of unease settle over her as she listened to Xiao Mang's description of Ye Shufen. The man on the screen looked powerful, almost godlike, with his chiseled features and piercing gaze. She shook her head, trying to dispel the strange feeling that he was somehow familiar to her.

"Come on, let's get out of here," Arwen said, suddenly eager to leave the crowded market.

"I'm feeling a bit tired."

Xiao Mang nodded, her eyes still fixed on the screen.

"Yeah, let's go back to the hotel. I'll tell you more about the Ye Family on the way."

As they walked back, Xiao Mang regaled Arwen with stories of the Ye Family's wealth and power, their intricate political connections, and the constant power struggles within the dynasty. Arwen listened with half an ear, her mind wandering back to the strange dream she'd had that morning.

At the hotel she waved bye to her friend she walked to her hotel room she took a long shower after she was finished she closed her eyes and she laid on the bed two weeks in China. Goes back to New York City, go to Hawaii with her friends and than go Massachusetts to go to Harvard.

Why does she feel druzy again she tried to keep her eyes open she felt sharp pain this time the drug seemed stronger.

"Have you thought of about!"

"Crazy! I have no child!" Arwen shouted as she tried to set up but the man grabbed Arwen by the neck and kissed her deeply. Arwen fought the person.

Arwen woke up in the morning holy shit why does her body feel so swore. Arwen looked out the window crap another dream she touched her chin and she tried to think she might it as well go on blind dates.

Arwen groaned as she dragged herself out of bed, her body aching and her head pounding. She stumbled to the bathroom, splashing cold water on her face in an attempt to shake off the lingering effects of the strange dream.

As she looked at her reflection in the mirror, she noticed something peculiar a faint bruise on her neck, shaped like fingers. Arwen's heart raced as she recalled the intense grip from her dream, the man's lips pressed against hers.

"No way," she muttered, shaking her head.

"It was just a dream. A crazy, vivid dream."

But as she dressed for the day, the discomfort between her legs persisted, more pronounced than before. Arwen gritted her teeth, trying to ignore it as she grabbed her purse and headed out the door.

Arwen walked outside and she held a map out a hot spring she should go to a hot spring!

Arwen followed the map, navigating the bustling streets of Beijing until she reached the hot spring resort. The soothing aroma of mineralrich water and the gentle murmur of falling water greeted her as she stepped inside.

She changed into a fluffy robe and made her way to the outdoor pool, surrounded by lush greenery and towering bamboo. The steam rose invitingly from the surface, promising relief from her aches and pains.

As Arwen sank into the warm, soothing water, she felt her muscles begin to relax. She closed her eyes, letting out a contented sigh as the heat seeped into her skin. But as she drifted, her mind wandered back to the strange dreams and the lingering sensations in her body.

There were other woman in the hot tube and bunch of them were gossiping.
