Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

In the vast, endless ocean, a small silhouette of a lone wooden boat drifted slowly over the calm waves, seemingly at the mercy of the sea.

Lying on the boat was a boy, around 20 or 21 years old, sound asleep under the open sky, his body rising and falling gently with the motion of the water.

A few minutes passed before the boy stirred, slowly opening his eyes and looking around with a dazed expression.

"So this really isn't a dream," he muttered quietly.

'My name is John,' he thought, eyes narrowing as the memories returned. 'Just a few hours ago, I was walking home like usual, and then truck-kun found me. Classic.'

'I died, met God—your typical cliché isekai setup.'

'God said he'd reincarnate me into a world of my choosing and give me three wishes.'

'I picked the One Piece world, of course. It's always been my favorite.'

'For my three wishes, I chose: One — Super Thought Acceleration, like the Great Sage skill. Two — a Daily Sign-In System. And Three — Infinite Potential.'

Back on the boat, John sat up and murmured, "System, sign in for today."

A second later, a cold, robotic voice responded in his mind:

⟨Ding. Congratulations, Host, for signing in. You have obtained [Swordsmanship Level 1]⟩

Suddenly, a surge of experience burst into his brain like a flood, followed by an influx of refined techniques and instinctual understanding of the sword. It was as if his body remembered something it never learned.

As the sensation passed, John quickly gathered his thoughts and said, "System, show me my status window."

A blue holographic panel blinked into view in front of him, floating in the air with a soft hum, listing out his information in neat rows.

John scanned the screen carefully, eyes tracing each stat and skill. After making sure there were no hidden notifications, he dismissed the panel with a thought and leaned back slightly.

'First order of business... land,' he thought. 'If I stay here too long, I might become the first reincarnator to die from starvation. That'd be pathetic.'

Without a compass or any real knowledge of the seas, he grabbed the oars and began rowing aimlessly, hoping luck would guide him in the right direction.

Two days later.

"Help!" John yelled, voice dry and hoarse from thirst. "Someone help me! Is anybody out there?!"

His throat burned with every word, his energy nearly gone. Shouting felt pointless now.

But just as he was about to slump down again, something caught his eye on the horizon — a shape, slowly approaching. A ship.

His heart leapt. His dull eyes regained a glimmer of life as hope ignited inside him.

As the ship drew closer, its details became clear. The emblem on its sail displayed the iconic mark of the Marines, bold and unmistakable. At the front of the vessel was a figurehead — a large, carved dog head.

The moment John saw that dog, recognition struck like lightning.

That was the ship. The personal warship of Vice Admiral Garp — the Hero of the Marines. The man said to have the strongest Armament Haki in the entire world.

John's face lit up in pure relief. He was finally about to be saved, after two long days of drifting across the open sea.

On the warship there can be a soldier running towards Garps quarters. "Vice Admiral, there's a small boat upfront with a malnourished guy on it!" The soldier said hurriedly.

Garps btows furrowed slightly. "Really?" He asked. "Yes sir!" The soldier respond in a serious tone.

Let's go see him
