It was later on when Ben heard a knock at the door. "Come on in, the door's unlocked," he responded to whoever it was. Claude slid on some shorts and a shirt while in the bedroom.
Zach stuck his head in. "Is this a good time for a visit?" he asked.
"Of course anytime is perfect for you Z," Ben smiled at his old friend. Zach started small talk and dancing around the subject about the baby and if Claude was doing okay.
"What is this visit really about?" Ben asked, knowing his friend all too well.
"I got a very heated phone call from the Owner of F&F Farms about the baby, they were dissatisfied with the results of the breeding and they wanted their fees refunded, I reminded the arrogant ass to read his contract the amended parts and all.
"They did a blood test on Reggie and it's their breeder's offspring which pissed him off even more, plus I faxed all of your reproduction and health records to verify it was nothing on our end.
"It seems that they over bred him and his genetics were drained and from what I found out his last 4 breeding sessions resulted in no pregnancies at all, blanks were being shot.
"That's why I only let you guys breed 1 to 2 times a month for the Ranch, to keep you in top health. I might not own the richest ranch but I have well cared for Genmen who produce a fine offspring," Zach explained.
"I appreciate what you did but what was your real reason for being here?" Ben smiled and thanked him.
"I also made another very important phone call and you have a Visitor that wants to see his Dad," Ben looked into Claude's eyes.
Zach walked to the door opened it and there stood a very handsome young Genman, light olive skin, blondish hair and the most beautiful blue eyes just like his Dad, Luther rushed over to his dad and wrapped his big arms around him holding him tight but very cautiously.
"I never meant to cause you any pain for the things I did growing up, I Love you dad, more than you will ever know," the young Genman started to sob as he held onto his dad. Ben broke down crying holding his wayward son.
"How did you find out son?" Ben asked.
"Father called, the boys and I dropped everything, got into the SUV and headed out. Ty and Daniel helped drive while Lex sat in the back with me. He can't drive worth a damn, still too young and went through the transition recently," Luther replied. This was all too much for Ben to digest. His baby boy had babies himself.
"How old are they?" Ben asked.
"As soon as I arrived I was bred for the next three days, then again two days after Ty was born, then again almost three years ago so in human years they are 25, 24 and almost 19. After Lex, the ranch called off my breeding program. They said my hybrid DNA was to blame for three duds in a row from the same Champion Russian Genman," Luther explained.
"If I had known I would have stopped them from treating you like a piece of property to be used like they did," Ben started to cry again and hugged his son.
"But it is okay. I stayed no matter how much father raised hell with their policies, now I've got me the three most handsome sons around; would you like to meet your grandsons, dad," Luther asked. Tears streamed down Ben's cheeks as he realized his three grandsons were really there.
"When can I see them, Luther?" he choked out.
"Right now granddad," Zach responded and opened the door. In walked Ty a mountain of a Genman, ultra light yellow caramel colored and a splitting image of his grandfather, Ben, due to his Italian heritage.
Next was Daniel named after his granddad Benjamin Daniel, who he looked just like. Then there was the baby boy, Lex, who was in his own rights a knockout hunk with Ginger hair and alabaster skin. One by one they all made their way to Ben to get acquainted.
After Daniel greeted his granddad, he went to greet Claude, they shook hands. "Are you my half brother?" Daniel asked.
"Nope not your brother, but I'm carrying them," Claude responded. Before Claude realized what was going on, Daniel picked him up and carried him to the couch, sat him down, propped his feet up and covered him up with a throw blanket. "Can I get you something to drink or eat?" he asked.
"We must have a preggie one here for Daniel to act like a mother hen," Ty laughed.
"You just try and carry twins then see how tough it can be, big man. There's nothing too good for our baby brothers he's carrying so get over yourself; Mr. Zachary Ty," Daniel cast his eyes at his older brother and snapped. All eyes were on Claude; Lex, Luther and Ty's mouths fell open.
Zach and Ben both started laughing at what had just taken place and who had gotten put in his place by his younger brother.
"Do all of you know how rare it is for a Genman to conceive twins and how difficult the pregnancy is to get to term and we aren't even talking about the delivery process. He needs to be taken care of day and night," Lex remarked.
"My wonderful boys... Daniel the mother hen, Lex the reproduction/breeding and gene specialist and the oldest Ty the finance and investment genius," Luther laughed.
"It's been nice catching up and getting to meet the boys. If it's okay with Zach, you can stay on the ranch and visit. But I'll be okay, besides, I need to get some rest. Because the precious cargo I have on board needs time to grow strong to join his brothers," Ben chuckled.
Lex knew just what he meant and signaled his siblings that it was time to take their leave. Their dad, Luther, needed time with his dad, Ben, and the three boys left along with Grandfather Zach.
"We are here to stay, the boys and I have come home to stay, dad. Where we belong on the ranch is with you, father, Claude and the little ones yet to be born." Luther sat down his Dad.
"I love you and the boys. Welcome Home!" Ben hugged his son.
