Enel stood at the bustling docks of Jaya, his piercing gaze sweeping over the myriad of ships anchored along the shoreline. His objective was clear: to find a vessel large enough to transport the immense wealth he and Tatsumaki had acquired from the City of Gold. The port was alive with activity, pirates and merchants alike tending to their ships and cargo, oblivious to the storm brewing above.
Kuro, the infamous captain of the Black Cat Pirates, leaned against the railing of his ship, the Bezan Black, lost in contemplation. The journey through the Grand Line had been arduous, with encounters against formidable foes like Marine Captain Smoker and the bounty hunters of Whiskey Peak. He was unable to fight them, and could only flee for his life, like a rat. His once formidable crew had been reduced to a mere fraction of its original size, and their resources were dwindling. The only solace they had gained was the eternal log pose to Jaya they had acquired, a beacon guiding them through the treacherous seas.
As he surveyed the port, dark clouds began to gather ominously overhead. The change was subtle at first, but soon the sky was shrouded in darkness, and the air grew heavy with anticipation. A deafening crack of thunder shattered the silence, and a blinding bolt of lightning struck two of the Black Cat Pirates' ships, reducing them to smoldering wrecks. The crew was thrown into chaos, scrambling to comprehend the sudden devastation.
Descending from the heavens amidst a cascade of lightning, Enel landed gracefully on the dock, his form radiating with electric energy. His wings spread wide, and his eyes locked onto Kuro with an unwavering intensity. "Hand over your remaining ship," he commanded, his voice calm yet imbued with undeniable authority.
The Black Cat Pirates, fueled by desperation and pride, charged at Enel, weapons drawn. But their efforts were futile; their attacks passed harmlessly through his intangible form, and they were swiftly incapacitated by surges of electricity. Kuro watched in horror as his crew fell one by one, powerless against the overwhelming might of their adversary.
I will never be a pirate again. Kuro thought to himself. I'll make money another way.
Realizing the futility of resistance, Kuro raised his hands in surrender. "Take the ship," he conceded, his voice laced with bitterness. Enel nodded, his expression unreadable, and turned away, leaving the defeated pirates in his wake.
With the Bezan Black now under his control, Enel returned to the hidden cove where Tatsumaki awaited. She looked up as he approached, her eyes widening at the sight of the massive vessel. "It's ugly, but it will do nicely, for now." she remarked, a hint of admiration in her voice.
Enel smiled, the first genuine expression of satisfaction he had shown in days. "It's time to go build our ship," he declared. "A vessel worthy of the Pirate King."
Together, she began the easy task of transferring their treasure onto the Bezan Black, their minds already envisioning the grand ship they would create. The journey ahead was fraught with challenges, but with their combined strength and determination, they were ready to face whatever the Grand Line had in store.
As the sun set over Jaya, casting a golden hue over the sea, the newly formed crew of just Enel and Tatsumaki set sail, their sights set on Water 7 and the promise of a new era in piracy.
