We returned home, crossing our territory's border I started to feel like I was suffocating. I think I'm going into a panic attack knowing the argument that awaits me. It's like a feeling impending doom, not that I feel guilty, Chris has done this to me for months. But, I do feel guilty because of Ryder's girlfriend or mate, I would never do that to another woman, especially knowing how that makes you feel. Not only do you have the physical pain while your mate is being unfaithful, but you also have the emotional pain of never thinking you're good enough. I hope the Goddess can forgive me, I honestly didn't know the redhead existed. Jaxon pulled in front of the pack house "Honey we're home." " Yay, I'm so happy." I snapped. He just put his hands up in surrender. We jumped out of the jeep and walked in the front door in silence. We noticed that there was way too much activity going on. Reaching the dining room, Chris noticed our presence " You two take a seat, I'd like to hear all about the summit." I reluctantly took my seat, Jaxon sitting next to me.
" What exactly do you want to know, there were several topics discussed?" I replied. " What topics Tess, do any of them concern us?" Chris spit out. He's clearly in a foul mood.
" They spoke of alliances, rogues, how to up security at the borders, and also about the prophecy of the silver wolf and how she'll bring harmony to all supernaturals. Oh and how Alpha Nicklas is looking for said wolf, anything peak your interest?" I retorted. " He'll never find her, no one knows where the silver wolf resides Tess." Chris replied in a comforting tone. I just shrugged, and looked down trying not to be obvious. " So who's considered the strongest Alpha in the country?" Chris inquired. "Alpha Ryder of the Blood Moon Pack, he's a beast, just ask Tess." Jaxon mocked. "Is that so, tell me about him or maybe some other Alpha's Tess, were they strong." Chris spat venomously. "I don't know Christopher, it's not like I got to play with the Alpha's in the games." I eyed him angrily. " I'm sure you played with at least one Alpha Tessa!! Chris exploded. " Instead of causing an unnecessary argument why don't you tell me why we have decorators,chefs, and party planners bustling around!" I demanded. " We're getting ready for my Luna coronation." Jenna declared victoriously. " What the fuck Christopher , you're preparing to mate and mark your Luna and have a huge celebration, so why do you think it's any of your business who I was fucking, but I'll let you know Jax is right he's a fucking beast!!" I yelled. "That's enough, hold your tongue Tessa remember you're mine!! Chris shouted. "I'm not yours I don't belong to anybody, nobody owns me not you, not him, I belong to myself!! " I cried out. I glared at Jenna
" Wipe that smug look off your face Luna, didn't you hear your bought mate say I belong to him. He's not going to reject me, and you just act like I'm not his fated mate, you should feel belittled, but instead you act like you won the damn lottery!!!" " You're out of line Tess, and no one here wants to listen to you, just go to your room!!!" Chris roared.
I looked at him with disgust and stomped off to my room.
Slamming my door shut behind me, I fell on the bed, and just cried violently, the last couple days took a toll on my heart and soul. Will I ever get away from here, away from him, but where would I go? My thoughts then drifted to Ryder, why are these male wolves so untrustworthy? As my thoughts run wild, I drift off to sleep.
