Kindness, evil, destruction, life—four comrades. The newly appointed Asura, I entrust him to your care. Please look after him well. I must go now," said the Asura God.
The four great gods nodded, then watched as the Sea God and the Asura God, the twin deities, departed.
Destruction, known for his blunt temper, said, "Bringing in the fate of the Douluo Continent to cultivate a useless fool—someone who has never grown through adversity, who's had an easy, smooth life, walking the path laid out by the Asura—what achievements can such a person have? I think the Asura wants to leave but is reluctant to give up his divine authority!"
After bidding farewell to the gods of the Divine Realm, the Asura God and the Sea God eagerly ascended toward the higher realm.
In the Divine Realm, these gods are rulers of their own small domains, but any ambitious god is unwilling to be confined forever to this tiny corner. Both the Asura and Sea Gods seek higher levels of existence and must relinquish their authority in the Divine Realm to venture into higher-dimensional worlds to pursue greater heights.
Passing their powers to Tang San also benefits them.
Both have come to understand Tang San's nature well. By letting him govern the Divine Realm, they effectively entrust him with its authority. If their journey in the higher realm goes poorly, they can always retreat back to the Divine Realm to live out their days peacefully—what a wonderful fallback!
Together, the two gods journey through the chaos toward the higher dimension. However, after some time, they find themselves lost in a pit of cosmic chaos!
A strange mist surrounds them. Even with their divine king-level strength, the Asura God's divine sense can barely penetrate the chaotic fog.
They circle around, searching for a way out, but find none.
"Are we lost in the chaos?" the Sea God asked.
The Asura God said nothing but summoned the Sword of Killing Intent and slashed at the fog. The killing intent's energy spread and cut a hole in the chaotic mist, but it quickly sealed again.
"We underestimated this chaotic fog," the Asura God admitted.
"Look over there," said the Sea God.
Ahead, the mist was dissipating, revealing a colossal pillar holding up the sky!
Looking around, they saw they stood at the center of five such pillars.
Upon closer inspection, they realized these were five fingers.
This place resembled a world, with the five fingers like pillars of the heavens. As the chaotic fog faded, they clearly understood their situation.
The Sea God and Asura God—both towering divine kings, with one being a top-tier god—now felt like ants trapped in the palm of a giant.
"Who is it? Which elder is playing a joke on me?" the Asura God asked grimly.
Suddenly, the world before them shifted. The chaotic energy parted, revealing a goddess-like figure towering tens of thousands of feet, looking down on them like a giant.
Her form was exquisite and pale-skinned. She wielded countless universal laws—the radiance of the cosmic stars swirling freely around her, the cycle of cause and effect.
Her figure was ephemeral, seeming as though she might vanish at any moment, yet she radiated a sacred, untouchable aura.
The Asura and Sea Gods couldn't make out her face, shrouded in the chaotic mist, but they saw two soul-piercing eyes staring intently at them.
The Sea God controls the laws of the ocean; the Asura God rules killing and order. Both have spent their lives mastering their laws, securing their supreme status in Douluo Continent and even the Divine Realm.
Yet before her, they felt like insignificant insects compared to a celestial dragon towering in the heavens—an overwhelming sense of oppression they had never felt, not even facing their strongest foe, the Dragon God.
"Elder," the Asura God's voice trembled, "I am Asura, and this is the Sea God. May I ask your name?"
"You are unworthy of knowing," she replied coldly. Her voice was clear and pleasant, yet every note carried the sound of the Great Dao, the laws of the universe.
"What business brings you to us?" asked the Sea God.
"Is it fun to bully orphans and widows?" Her voice was icy and sharp.
"Bullying orphans and widows?" The Asura and Sea Gods were stunned.
"May I ask, elder, where did the accusation of bullying orphans and widows come from?" the Asura God inquired.
She did not answer but instead, with divine power, projected a scene before the two gods.
To fully cultivate his successor, the Asura God cut off the fate and luck of the Douluo Continent and the Spirit Hall, reserving all the best for Tang San. This led to the decline of the Spirit Hall under Bibi Dong's leadership. In a life-or-death war, Tang San died at Bibi Dong's hands, but shamelessly, the Asura God broke the rule that gods cannot interfere in the mortal realm by reviving Tang San and bypassing the divine trial to grant him the Asura God title.
On the other hand, the Sea God acted even more disgracefully, taking advantage of the fallen Angel God. The Angel God rigged the divine trials so that Qian Renxue, supposed to be Tang San's mortal enemy, fell in love with him, repeatedly holding back in battles against Tang San. Finally, to prove Tang San's greatness, she even broadcast Qian Renxue's social disgrace during the divine trials live in the Sea God's divine trial!
"This…" The Sea God wiped sweat from his forehead and awkwardly asked, "Elder, do you have some connection with Bibi Dong or Qian Renxue?"
"Bringing a thief into this realm to monopolize the Douluo Continent's fate for tens of thousands of years, all to help you hold the Divine Realm's authority? I merely resent your selfishness," she replied.
For tens of thousands of years on the Douluo Continent, Tang San has stably controlled the Divine Realm's authority. But this guy is unimaginative—content only with holding the Divine Realm, stubbornly guarding this tiny patch of land as its local tyrant. For the Asura and Sea Gods, this is perfect.
In other words, they raised their own gatekeeper to watch over the Divine Realm!
Could she be the Creator God of this world?
The Asura and Sea Gods were shaken to their core, their purpose exposed by a single phrase. Embarrassed, they knew if others in the Divine Realm heard this, they would be shocked that the supposedly impartial Sea God and Asura God were so selfish. Wanting to leave the Douluo world but unwilling to give up their authority, they used Tang San to block the path of future successors!
The Asura God decisively stepped forward. "If elder is dissatisfied, we can strip Tang San of his divine title in the mortal realm, leaving the Asura and Sea God legacies in the Douluo Continent for a worthy successor to claim. What do you think?"
"No need," she said, raising her other jade hand and pointing toward the distant Douluo Continent. A beam of light containing time and space laws shone from her fingertip.
