After the incident of the previous day had died down when they all escaped. They all returned to their respective homes after they had successfully managed to take Allison to the hospital because she had minor injuries in some of her bodies.
The next day, Liam had prepared for school. He had woken up earlier than the usual time to prepare food for Allison in the hospital, and just as he was about to go through the entrance, he heard a background noise of flipping of pages of notebook behind him. He already knew without turning back that it would be no other person than his stubborn headed father as he always thought of him. He proceeded to open the door and walk out of the house, and just then, all of a sudden, Reginald's voice sounded right before he could step out.
"Have we seen each other this morning before, or have you lost your mind because of.."
Liam quickly chimed in before his father could complete his statement
"Good morning, sir. I'm about to head for school,"
He knew that since the recent events happening at school had gotten to the hearing of his father, they weren't on good terms with each other. Reginald frowned a little before uttering the next sentence just before Liam could storm out again
"Who are those stuffs for.. I mean, the provisions," Reginald questioned with a suspicious tone.
Liam heart leapt a bit since he wasn't expecting the question beforehand, but he had to come up with a perfect answer before his father could guess the right person on his mind.
"Me and my friends, one of them was having a birthday party, and I thought of carrying this along so we com eatt to our hearts' desire
"But that doesn't seem like a perfect lie, boy, come up with another one. Maybe that might motivate me..
Liam knew he wasn't good at lying, but he just had to come up with one right now, and he was unable to think of any perfect lie.
"Your silence turns out to be you are out of option of another lie, am i right my boy,"
All of a sudden, he walked walked backwards to his father and faced him with his father's eyes locking unto his,
"Father, are you that blinded by money that you did not want the best for your son? Why did you want me to live a miserable life,"
Reginald face turned stark red with an expression of anger well written on his face
"What do you mean, my son, that pathetic little girl had blinded you by love and was unable to let you walk through the right path, Sophia is the best match for you. Come to think of the benefit and Alliance we are going to gain,"
"I won't marry Sophia. That can never be," Liam ranted proceedings to walk through the entrance. Drops of tears had protruded out of his eyes and was trolling down his cheek..
"Why won't you do? It's a must, my boy. The arrangement has ready been made, and.."
Liam chimed in before his father could complete his sentence with more drops of tears protruding from his pupils
"And what, father..., you don't know Sophia as I do.. do you know what Allison has gone through because of me, and still Sophia wants her dead, and so do you, because she has no one to fight for her, no one to stand for her, her whole family was murdered, and yet.. Do you want the same fate to await her, too,"
Reginald made a light chuckle before speaking
"That was because she didn't maintain her place. She should have stayed low and.."
"I am never going to let any harm come to her again, not until if I am dead myself and nothing is going to make me change my mind.." Liam ranted and walked out angrily out of the house, slamming the door behind.
Reginald angrily flew the mug of coffee to the wall, which made it broken instantly. He kept fuming while pacing up and down the living room..
"Something needs to be done. This silly boy is going to ruin plans I have for him. He is blinded by love, I have to do something," Reginald told himself, as he kept pacing to and fro
Thirty minutes later,
At the hospital, the doctor had just finished checking up on Allison and was about to go out of the ward when Liam walked in. He nearly stumbled on the doctor, but he maintained his stand. A few drops of sweats could be seen on his face. Which made his appearance look quite exhausting..
"Ha, Mr Liam, I didn't expect you to be here so early," the doctor greeted with a wide grin on his face while extending his palm for a handshake
"Mr Wilson, I.. um.. particularly need to check up on Allison before I go to school, sir," Liam explained
"Ohh.. I see, but where are her parents they ought to be here.. were they not informed or.."
"It's a complicated matter sir, they won't be here, I'm sorry.." Liam chimed in before the man could speak further.
"Oh. It is well then, you can stay with her for the mean tike, she's improving,"
The doctor said and left.
Liam walked toward weak Allison on the hospital bed. She was looking frail, but it was even better than the previous day.
"Hey.."
Liam greeted immediately he got seated while caressing her hair
"Hey.." Allison responded with a light smile, which made Liam's heart flutter a little
"How are you doing," Liam asked, trying to face the side, provably avoiding gaze with Allison
Allison felt a little surprised, which made her wonder what could make Liam avoid glances with her
"Liam, are you crying?"
Liam immediately cleaned his tears and faced Allison instantly, trying to break off the current emotional moment
"Uh..oh, hehe, I'm not, I was just.. um, I brought you food and..,"
"No, Liam, I noticed, don't hide it, just tell me.." Allison said, with a curious gaze while using her hand to clean Liams eyes
Liam felt a little heartbroken to reveal this to Allison, but since she requested it, he decided to open up. He looked at Allison directly in the face and uttered
"I have been thinking about all you have gone through, just because of me. It's so heartbroken to see you this way.. and.. I will keep blaming myself for y..."
Allison didn't let Liam finish his sentence before landing a passionate deep kiss on his lips, making him unable to complete his statement..
The drop of tears on his face strolled down his cheeks, and due to the kiss, it landed on Allison's cheek, too,
For a few seconds, they were both lost in the world of romance, with the noise of the hospital fading into the background. The kiss was so pure and passionate that even Allison felt it. It really comes from her heart..
Finally, it came to an end as Allison broke the kiss, and she smiled and looked at Liam directly in the face..
"Don't say that again.. or I will kiss you again,"
She said and cleaned his tears with her palms, Liam nodded and brought out the Foods..
