[Scene 1 – Phoenix Guild HQ, Late Night After Ray's Funeral]
The soft drizzle had ended, but the skies over Aetherion still mourned.
Inavy arrived silently at the Phoenix Guild's headquarters.Exhausted. Broken. Wordless.
His eyes were hollow, his heart heavy from the funeral. The speeches. Tyrus's threat. And Ray's final words.
Unable to speak to anyone or respond to the mountain of messages, he dropped his thunder-shaped pendant on the desk and collapsed into bed.
Sleep found him quickly, deeper than ever before.
[Scene 2 – Dream Realm: The Astral Encounter with Ray]
A bright white plane. Calm winds.A surreal, peaceful space.
Inavy looked around, confused...Until he saw him.
Ray Stormbreak.
"Dad…!" Inavy shouted, running straight into his arms.
Ray embraced him, but his face... was burdened, anxious.Something was wrong.
"Inavy… I need to tell you something," Ray said, his voice strained.
"Of course, Dad. What is it?"
Ray paused, visibly struggling.
"I've been hiding this from you for years. But the time has come."
Inavy pulled back slightly.
"What do you mean?"
Ray took a deep breath.
"I'm not your real father, Inavy. And Tiana… she's not your real mother."
Inavy's heart skipped a beat.
"What…? What are you saying?"
"You are the son of Mary Stormbreak, my sister. And Julius, King of Nionderland."
The astral plane seemed to tremble.
"They were murdered on the day you were born—killed by Tyrus's order, to prevent the return of Chaos to the world."
Ray's voice cracked with pain.
"I raised you because you're my sister's son.And the son of my dearest friend."
"Everyone keeps talking about Chaos... but what even is it?" Inavy asked, growing frustrated."Is it something good or evil? And what's with the sword you gave me?"
Ray looked directly into his eyes.
"Chaos is neither good nor evil.It is balance between the two.Chaos created the universe itself, son."
"And that sword—it's the Blade of Chaos. It can only be wielded by those who carry Chaos in their blood.Only you and… Nion can use it."
"Nion? Who the hell is Nion?" Inavy demanded.
Ray nodded gravely.
"Nion was an ancient warrior.Son of Yon, the primordial being.Brother of Tyrus. He came to Earth… and founded Nionderland. Why exactly, even I never knew."
Ray sighed, sorrow thick in his voice.
"I know I failed you in some ways.I should have trusted you sooner. But I did it to protect you…Because you were my light, Inavy. The reason I became who I am."
Tears welled in his eyes.
"I tried to protect you from the truth… from yourself."
Inavy dropped to his knees, overwhelmed.
"Don't say that, you dumb old man.You were the best father I could've asked for.Blood doesn't matter.I'm a Stormbreak.And I'm the son of a hero.I'm YOUR son, Ray."
Ray wiped away his tears, smiling through them.
"Yes… my firstborn.My beloved son.You are… my legacy."
Then Ray looked at his hand — the light in it flickering.
"Our time is running out.Inavy… it's time.Go to Nionderland. You'll find the answers there—about Nion, about Chaos, about how to defeat Tyrus…And most importantly, about yourself."
The world of light began to fade.
"And remember…You are more than you know, my son."
[Scene 3 – Morning, Phoenix Guild HQ Balcony]
Inavy opened his eyes, lying on the balcony floor. The wind was gentle, the morning sun shy behind clouds.
For the first time in days…He smiled.
"Nionderland, huh…" he whispered.
Soon after, Darius and Rose found him.
"Well, someone's in a good mood," Darius said with a grin.
"Finally! A smile from the gloomy boy," Rose teased.
Diana soon joined them, more serious.
"Inavy… what happened?"
He looked at them, calm but resolved.
"I saw Ray. In the astral plane. He told me everything."
The three of them grew silent.
"He wasn't my biological father. But he was… my dad.And now, I need to discover who I truly am."
He extended a hand.
"I'm heading to Nionderland. And I want to know—who's coming with me?"
Without hesitation, one by one, they placed their hands over his.
Darius. Rose. Diana.
"Always with you, brother.""To the end.""For Ray."
A new chapter had begun. And the road to Nionderland… had just opened.
