Arthur and Lamia finished their preparations and headed to the harbor. After finally agreeing with a sailor, he agreed to take them to Minos.
Since I got on the ship, there's been this uneasy feeling on me, like someone's watching us. Which stalker could that be?
Luckily, my instincts were wrong.
3 hours later.
Bad luck? No, my friend, I'm just cooked right now. Lamia is holding onto me, and it feels like she wants to leave at any moment. The ship is rocking as if the seas are reflecting the wrath of the gods, pounding against our vessel.
A voice from the depths of the sea brings me back to my senses:
"LAMIAA! How dare you step into the sea after what you've done? I condemn you to death."
That was Poseidon, I'm sure.
Uncle, please calm down and let's talk like two civilized Greeks.
That bastard is serious about killing us—he sent a half-god level sea dragon, and the dragon looks like it's hunting its prey. I'm by a wall with Lamia, questioning our lives.
Then I got a brilliant idea:
"Shhhh, Lamia, can you walk on water?"
She looks at me strangely, like she wants to figure out what I'm thinking: "Yes, but why do you ask now?"
"Now, Lamia, run at full speed on the water, carrying me like a princess, or my life story ends here."
When I said that, she looked at me like I was crazy. What can I say, my friend?
But finally, the sea dragon must have gotten angry because it decided to sink the entire ship. Then Lamia grabbed me by the waist, and as I said, she's carrying me in her arms.
Oh my god, I'm blushing.
It should've been me who carried her.
Then I watch Lamia running on the water like Jesus, and we're moving away from home, but we locked eyes with the dragon.
"Ahhhhhhh! Help! What kind of madman sends a dragon to kill his daughter?" My screams echo through the sea, and they sound like a little girl screaming.
The dragon is coming at full power from behind us. I look at Lamia:
"Lamia, if you know the way to Minos, keep going. I have a plan, trust me."
"I'll do whatever it takes, Arthur. This dragon has been chasing us for 300 km; I'm about to give up." Lamia's eyes are full of despair now.
I decided to cast a spell I once read in a book that the system gave me. I feel the divine energy inside me, and red lightning forms in my hand. I raise my hand to the sky; the energy soars up to the clouds. Then, dark clouds appear around us, and from within them emerges the head of a dragon made of crimson lightning.
Lamia panics even more and runs with all her might.
Shinku Raijin — "Crimson Thunder God."
The dragon in the clouds bursts out and speeds toward the sea dragon with lightning. Suddenly, my dragon clamps onto the sea dragon's throat and relentlessly attacks it with lightning.
Lamia looks at me like she can't believe her eyes:
"Did you do this?"
I give her my most genuine smile: "Of course, what did you think?"
She lightly taps my forehead:
"You're out of energy. At this rate, you're going to pass out."
Then Lamia transfers some of her divine energy to me.
"Thank you, Lamia."
She lets go like it's nothing important.
When the noise behind us stops, I look at the sea dragon, and I can proudly say it would make a perfect sashimi now.
But I feel like Poseidon is mocking us.
Ten people rise from the sea depths, and when I look closer, I see scales on their faces. Lamia is still running hard.
"Hey Lamia, do you see what I see?"
She quickly turns and looks like she's seen death:
"They're Atlanteans, Arthur. I should beg my father for forgiveness, maybe he'll forgive us."
This time, I hit her on the head:
"Don't be stupid, Lamia. If you surrender, we are all dead meat."
She rubs her head and resolutely looks for a nearby island.
Behind us, the Atlanteans shout:
"In the name of Poseidon, surrender and accept your fate!"
Screw that, sisters of fate probably hated me long before this.
An arrow is shot at Lamia, they're aiming, I draw my katana and block as best I can. They don't stop.
One last crazy idea comes to mind.
I direct all my power through the divinity of love toward the Atlanteans. They don't understand what's happening, but suddenly all ten Atlanteans look at me with strange expressions.
They're all men and seem like they want to eat me.
"Hey, silver-haired guy, stay still, we can do special things with you."
One Atlantean says this, and I'm shocked. I tried to hypnotize these guys with the divinity of love.
But it didn't work, at least the way I wanted.
Another Atlantean, about 3 meters tall, chases us like a man chasing a woman at midnight:
"My love, don't run, I know you want me too."
Son of a bitch, I'm straight.
Lamia looks at me like she's seen something disgusting. Oh, my life is over.
[Host, You are about to lose your virginity to a man, congratulations.]
System, are you betraying me too?
Panicking, I talk to Lamia:
"Lamia, you misunderstood. I like women. Don't let these bastards take my virginity."
Thank goodness, soon an island appears, and Lamia and I run with all our strength. Despite the Atlanteans still chasing us, the distance grows, and when we reach the island, they start searching.
Note to self: don't use the goddess of love on men.
Dude, my life sucks.
