Chapter 2 - Level Up and Road to Town

Alex stood up with a strange feeling of lightness. The body she inhabited wasn't her own, heavy from hours in front of the screen. This one was more agile, more... youthful.

She looked at the floating screen of the Milf System, the stats flashing before her eyes. The SSS Multiplier (x100) gave her an overwhelming advantage. But what exactly did each attribute mean?

"System," Alex ventured, her voice a whisper in the stillness of the forest. "Can you explain the attributes and skills to me?"

The robotic voice echoed in her mind:

[Affirmative, host. The Attributes and Skills tutorial will open.]

Another translucent window appeared, overlapping the first:

[BASE ATTRIBUTES]

* Strength (STR): Determines physical attack power, carrying capacity, and resistance to brute force.

* Agility (AGI): Determines movement speed, attack speed, reaction time, and evasion.

* Intelligence (INT): Determines magical ability, spell effectiveness, and learning speed.

* Endurance (END): Determines Hit Points (HP), physical defense, and resistance to negative effects.

* Luck (LUK): Influences the probability of obtaining rare loot, critical hits, and avoiding unexpected hazards.

[ATTRIBUTE AND SKILL POINTS]

* Upon leveling up, the host will gain Attribute Points to distribute among base attributes.

* Certain actions, discoveries, or levels will unlock Skill Points, which can be used to learn or improve active or passive skills.

Alex absorbed the information. Each point he earned would be worth one hundred. This was insane. He could become absurdly strong with just a little effort.

"And the shop?" he asked, remembering the other key element of the game's systems.

[The System Shop is available.

It requires System Points (SP) for transactions. System Points are earned by completing quests, defeating enemies, or selling valuable items.]

A new tab opened in the interface, revealing an endless list of items: potions, weapons, armor, skill books, even strange recipes.

However, they all displayed a price in SP, and for now, his balance was zero. He'd have to earn them.

Suddenly, a low, guttural growl broke the silence of the forest. Alex tensed. The sound came from the bushes to his right. A chill ran down his spine. This wasn't a video game; here, if he died, there wouldn't be a "reset" button.

Small, greenish figures emerged from the undergrowth. They were goblins. Hunchbacked creatures with pointy ears, glowing eyes, and sharp teeth, wielding primitive clubs.

There were three of them, and their eyes fixed on Alex with hungry malice.

[Alert! Enemies detected: 3 Goblins (Level 1).

[Combat Mission Started: Defeat the Goblins (0/3)]

[Reward: 30 EXP, 3 HP, chance of loot.]

"Shit!" Alex exclaimed, panic mixed with a strange emotion. His first fight! His heart was pounding. Despite the fear, a part of his gamer mind activated.

The nearest goblin shrieked and lunged at him, swinging its club. Alex instinctively dodged aside. The club whizzed past where his head had been a moment before. His base Agility of 1 had given him a quick reaction time.

"Okay, Alex, think!" he told himself. He had no weapons. He'd have to use his fists.

The second goblin tried to flank him. Alex spun, extending his arm. His fist, charged with a base Strength of 1, slammed into the goblin's jaw. The impact was brutal. The small monster went flying, hitting a tree with a thud, and landed motionless.

[You have defeated a Goblin. +1 EXP [x100] +100 XP, +10 HP.]

[Congratulations! ]

Level 1 → Level 2

[You gain +100 Attribute Points.]

Alex gasped. A single hit?! And he'd already leveled up?! The multiplier was truly insane.

The two remaining goblins took a step back, their eyes wide with fear as they watched their companion fall so easily.

"Come!" Alex roared, adrenaline coursing through his veins. He wasn't brave, but the feeling of power was intoxicating. He launched himself at them.

The third goblin tried to attack him from behind, but Alex, now more confident in his reflexes, spun around and punched him in the stomach, doubling him over. A kick to the head sent him sprawling to the ground, where he writhed before lying motionless.

[You have defeated a Goblin. +100 EXP, +10 HP.]

Only one remained. The last goblin, trembling, dropped its club and tried to flee. Alex wouldn't let it. A part of him told him to let it go, but the cold, practical voice of survival, amplified by the logic of the system, screamed at him to leave no loose ends.

He reached it in two strides and delivered a final blow that sent it sprawling to the ground.

[You have defeated a Goblin. +100 EXP, +10 HP.]

[Combat Mission: Defeat the Goblins (3/3) - Completed!]

[Reward: 300 EXP, 30 HP.]

[You have reached Level 3]

[You have obtained +40 Attribute Points.]

Alex took a deep breath, staring at the motionless bodies of the goblins. His hands trembled slightly, but a slow, savage smile spread across his face. He was alive. He had killed. And he had leveled up ridiculously quickly.

He checked his status screen.

[Name: Alex]

[Race: Human]

[Level: 3]

[Class: No Class Assigned]

[HP: 100/100]

[MP: 60/60]

[Available Attribute Points: 100]

[Available Skill Points: 0]

[Strength (STR): 1(+)]

[Agility (AGI): 1(+)]

[Intelligence (INT): 1(+)]

[Stamina (END): 1(+)]

[Luck (LUK): 1(+)]

He had 100 attribute points to distribute. With the 100x multiplier, each point he allocated would increase his actual stat by 100. This was… incredible. He could become a killing machine in the blink of an eye. The question was, how would he distribute them?

Alex looked at the inert goblin bodies and then returned his attention to the status screen, where the 100 Available Attribute Points flickered tantalizingly.

The thought of putting them all into Strength or Agility crossed his mind, transforming himself into an unstoppable beast. But the logic he'd honed through countless hours of RPGs whispered otherwise.

An unbalanced hero was a dead hero.

"System, I want to distribute 25 points across each attribute," Alex announced, his voice sounding firmer than he'd expected. It was a balanced distribution, a commitment to versatility rather than early specialization.

With the 100x multiplier, this meant each attribute would increase by 2,500 effective points.

[Confirming point distribution: Strength +25, Agility +25, Intelligence +25, Stamina +25. Confirm?]

"Yes, confirm," Alex said without hesitation.

The screen flickered, and Alex's base stats were updated.

[Strength (STR): 26 (2600)]

[Agility (AGI): 26 (2600)]

[Intelligence (INT): 26 (2600)]

[Stamina (END): 26 (2600)]

[Luck (LUK): 1 (100)]

[Available Attribute Points: 0]

A surge of energy coursed through him. It wasn't a magical sensation, but a profound vitality. He felt incredibly stronger, faster, and his mind seemed to work with astonishing clarity.

Even the forest air smelled crisper, the sounds more defined. His improved Stamina gave him a sense of robustness he'd never known, and his Luck… well, that was a stat he'd raise later.

Now that the goblins were no longer a threat, the need for a plan became apparent. He couldn't just wander around the forest. He needed to find civilization, information, and perhaps a way to understand this world.

"System, are there any recommended directions to find a human settlement?" Alex asked, hoping the system would act like a GPS map.

[Environment scan initiated. Route suggestion: Head east. Path trajectory detected at approximately 500 meters.]

Perfect! The system not only gave him power, but also direction.

Alex headed east, dodging bushes and trees with an ease that would have seemed impossible just a few minutes ago. His new Agility and Strength stats made moving through the dense foliage almost a walk in the park.

It didn't take long for him to glimpse what the system had detected. Through the tangle of trees, a thin line of packed earth wound its way through. It was a road, narrow and covered in fallen leaves, but unmistakably made by the repeated passage of feet and, perhaps, carts.

A sigh of relief escaped his lips. A road meant people. And people meant civilization. He followed the path, which wound gently up a small hill. As he continued, the forest began to thin, and the sun, now higher, warmed his face.

Finally, as he reached the top of the hill, the view before him stopped him in his tracks. Far below, in the valley, lay a village. It wasn't large, just a few dozen houses with thatched and wooden roofs, clustered around what appeared to be a central square with a well.

A rudimentary wooden fence surrounded it, and a modest wooden sign stood at the entrance, though from his position he couldn't read it.

Humble, yes, but it was a human settlement. Small figures were seen moving about, smoke rose from some chimneys, and the faint murmur of human life floated in the air. It wasn't skyscrapers or paved roads, but a real medieval village, just like in isekai manga.

A smile spread across his face. He'd made it. He'd survived the beginning, gained power, and now had a place to go. The real adventure, Alex thought, was about to begin. He had a system, SSS abilities, a whole new world to explore, and plenty of MILFs to conquer.
