Prologue: The Order in the Shadows

In the depths of a dimension no human had ever set foot in, a solitary figure stood, gazing upon the mortal world through a floating magical projection. The magic circle displayed a modern city bathed in artificial light. In one of its many rooms, a black-haired, brown-eyed high school boy sat quietly, studying under the soft glow of a desk lamp.

"Interesting..." the figure murmured, voice deep and calm. "A human possessing the power of a demon… rare—and unforgivable."

His eyes gleamed with a dark crimson hue, reflecting a blend of rage and contempt.

"A human should never hold something so sacred. They were never meant to bear our legacy. I must correct this mistake."

With a snap of his fingers, a shadowy figure cloaked in a hood emerged from the air and knelt before him.

"Why did you summon me?" asked the figure, her voice feminine—gentle yet firm.

"Something impossible is happening in the human world," he replied. "A young man has awakened a power that belongs only to our kind."

The hooded figure frowned beneath her veil.

"That's impossible. Humans can't contain that kind of energy. Their bodies... would collapse."

"So I thought. But this human is different. I want you to eliminate him before that power fully awakens."

"Why me? Why not send one of my brothers?"

"Your brothers are already carrying out other missions. This time, you will go. And I want it done without attracting any attention. No one must know that power has reincarnated in a mere mortal."

She hesitated for a moment... then nodded in resolve.

"As you wish."

"Good. The portal is ready."

A crimson circle opened beside her, distorting the space around it and releasing a warm, dark wind. Without another word, the hooded figure stepped through.

The mysterious figure watched the portal close, then whispered quietly to himself:

"Don't make the same mistake... she did."

Darkness returned to the chamber. And thus began the descent of the silent assassin into the human world—

where reality was about to be shaken by a power that was never meant to awaken.
