Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: The certain Jewelry store

The system prompts something I couldn't ignore because, for some reason my vision suddenly become blurred as I wear my glasses. But was more clearer than fine glass when I observe without it.

I put away my glasses and enjoys the new view that I receive. Quite magical yet mysterious. And then the floating screen rang again.

[Function activated— appraisal is a free, enhanced, and accurate descriptive function that describe or tell objects, entity, or any other kinds of perceivable things using stars! Please think or speak appraise when looking at something you deemed worth to appraise to]

[beep.. Beep.. Further incompletion please unlocked the other system function by integrating its piece of fragment. System detected two fragments]

I don't know which fragment does system refers to but I'll just ignore that for now with this appraisal I'll just focused in getting that portal opened.

Appraisal? With my vision enhanced and cured let's see. I am currently at the last store broadcreek jewelry store. I just thought of appraising and a system prompts appeared.

[broadcreek jewelry. 3 stars. A good lewelry store that sold fine gemstone made magic necklace and artifact graded rings. Contain a Secret passage for BM]

It appeared but for some reason. Why do the last sentence looks suspicious, why did the system have to abbreviate the last word. I could not understand. And artifact graded items? Wasn't it those like my clothe, had a unique ability in it? This place is more interesting than I thought. After searching from nook and cranny, from interrogation of local thugs, beating them up and getting along with major folks in this town I finally arrive at this last location, this building was also located in the most depopulated part of the town.

How do they even manage to made business in such a place? It's just feels a little bit gloomy here so I decided to get into the store.

"coming in" the door creaks as I opened it even slowly. The inside feels a bit rugged. The wooden floor that creaks as I walk, pillar plated with iron adorned with rustic designs. There is a slightly long glass case decorated with colorful yet beautiful jewelries inside it i appraised them one by one using a single thought. Most of them are just useless flaunts which would be perfect for those who just likes to feel classy with theirs style, typically women. And some others which seems to surprised me. They seems to have an ability, just like a real artifact, they're also an ability bearer. But they wear not what I'm looking for or they are made of any of the material needed for the portal keys I instead looked beneath as a weird table even I am not sure which material it's made so I made appraisal do the work.

[pallum table— 2 stars - a strong table made of pallum wood, it has durability of a steel and resistant to fire] quite an impressive description, i wonder how this star ratings works.

"welcome to the broadcreek jewelry, young man nice outfit you got there" a man with a mustache with a bit of a style, wearing a tank top and a specialized goggles on his forehead. He has a big build and bulky muscle so I think he's pretty strong and tall. He also has a skull like tattoo on his left shoulder which makes him a bit intimadating.

"good evening sir, are you the owner of this jewelry store?" I asked. Trying to act natural, polite and calm by his presence. Right, it was already midnight I've been exploring this town up and down asking if they know or got a Dimensional crystal. 2 times in a row did Chloe finds me and convinced me in persuasive manner and excuses to make me go home and have my lunch and supper. Ofcourse I couldn't refute to her words so I halted my search for a moment and goes home to try her homemade dishes and after that I continued where I stopped and search out.

There's several places that I was pointed out but there's nothing in it to them so they weren't worth mentioning about. Up until now, i haven't found the black market where I usually hears from people with a bit infamy like thugs. So this is the last place mentioned before black market, broadcreek jewelry.

"exactly I am lad, by the way where did you get that good piece of an artifact your wearing with a nice purely gold decorations in it, lad?" he asked, seemingly concentrated as his gaze peer onto the deepest fiber of the noble uniform. Now that I think about it I haven't appraised this garment which I was using around making the first impression.

[Trauze Formal Wear — 5 Stars - this meticulously crafted symbol of positive view and prideful presence, clothing made by an image-focused narcissistic artificer trauze berfureum–ability. likeable: a random chance to other person's perspective see you in a positive image while also had a chance for a negative image, your appearance will change in regards to the other's perspective in the way they see it]

"mister your not affected by this ability? You can really perceive me as normal? " curiously asked when he suddenly talked about my clothing I knew he saw through me.

"hahaha your interesting young lad, I'm Barrick jamstone the owner of this small shop and nothing escape my eyes lad" he laughed, guffawing as it echoed across the shop.

What does it mean by nothing escape his eye.

"do you mean you can see illusion mister Barrick? " I asked.

"why of course, a simple trick in the eye is nothing. I can even see the quality of the things you've bought and that pouch right there is a mysterious item, even I can't discern through it" mister Barrick replied.

"ohh this is a gift from master"

"a master ey? Are some sort of an apprentice craftsman from somewhere in this town? I heard there's some people starting to move in this town you must be one of them" mister Barrick asked.

"no, master is a summoner. A grand one. And yes we just moved here today"

"a summoner?! Kid, you must've never advertise it into anyone here that your a summoner. Also you shouldn't have told me about it. Nothing goods coming if someone finds out" mister Barrick lectured me. He seems to don't share the same mentality as the normal people of the world.
