Florence Fuller was led by a waiter to a semi-enclosed private room, with the bustling city's night view right outside the floor-to-ceiling window.
She arrived early, twenty minutes ahead of time.
She glanced over the menu and waited for a while, and Luke Gardiner arrived on time.
Seeing her glass half full, Luke Gardiner was a little surprised: "When did you get here?"
"Around six-forty."
She took a sip of water.
Luke nodded: "I was delayed for a bit, didn't expect you to come so early."
"It's okay." Florence handed him the menu: "You weren't late, go ahead and order."
Luke took it over: "Is there anything you particularly like?"
"I haven't been to this restaurant before, you decide, I'm not picky."
Luke adeptly ordered the dishes, and the waiter brought over the wine list. Luke looked at her: "Can you drink?"
Florence chose a mild bottle of red wine.
