The Point System and his Spirit Coins were depleted, but it didn't matter—as long as he could fly.
Zhen went to one of the city's small gates that was deserted.
Only one or two people passed by occasionally. The narrow road caused most to avoid it.
Zhen made his sword float to a height of one meter before jumping onto it.
Of course, it wouldn't break anymore. He could stand on it steadily as the sword felt like an extension of his body during flight.
'Impressive,' Zhen thought as he raised the sword's height to its limit—ten meters in the air.
Even though he could jump higher than that with his current cultivation, it still felt high to someone who had spent his whole life with a normal human's perspective.
'Feels like my feet are tightly stuck!'
He flipped the flying sword upside down, leaving himself hanging beneath it.
Strangely, he didn't fall. His feet seemed truly fused with the flying sword.
"Cough! Cough! Damn, lucky we managed to escape! To think we entered a beast's lair—if we had realized any later, that would've been our grave."
"How could you call it our grave? We wouldn't even have left corpses behind!"
Zhen suddenly heard two people talking.
Shortly after, he saw two men wearing grey robes coming from a small branch path beyond the city's small gate—a path even narrower than this one.
Their robes were torn, and there were claw wounds on their arms and legs.
Blood was faintly flowing from their injuries.
Fortunately, they were both at the Fifth Stage of cultivation, so they could still walk in a hurry despite their condition.
They didn't even notice Zhen and entered the city directly, probably looking for a place to treat their wounds.
Zhen was intrigued by the beast lair they mentioned. He flew toward the narrow path.
The road was made of pure dirt, with clear footprints visible due to the soft soil. There were also blood trails along the path.
From ten meters above, Zhen could easily observe them. He followed the tracks left behind by the two men.
His speed gradually increased because he knew the beast lair wouldn't be close to the city.
After some time, he found a huge ravine with a wooden staircase descending downward.
Blood stains were also present on the stairs.
However, Zhen couldn't see the bottom of the ravine—it was pitch black.
Though it looked frightening, he didn't hesitate to descend into it.
He didn't need to use the stairs; he just had to let himself fall.
Once he was ten meters from the ground, he would stop the fall.
But the depth of the ravine exceeded his expectations.
Even after fifty meters, he still hadn't seen the bottom.
Instead, he began to hear many roars echoing from below.
The roars were hoarse and terrifying, as if they belonged to demons rather than beasts.
Zhen wasn't sure what kind of beasts they were, but they definitely had claws—judging from the injuries on the two men and the tears in their robes.
"Mm!" Not long after hearing those roars, he saw many red eyes below.
They were cold and sharp, radiating an overwhelming killing intent.
Upon closer observation, each eye was as large as a human head.
The light from those red eyes allowed Zhen to faintly see the beasts.
They were giant wolves, over three meters tall, with crimson fur.

(Crimson Ravine Wolf – Level 6, Equivalent to Qi Master Realm Stage 6 Cultivator!

(Crimson Ravine Wolf – Level 7, Equivalent to Qi Master Realm Stage 7 Cultivator!

Zhen received three notifications in quick succession.
Immediately after, two wolves leapt toward him—even though he was still high up, their jumps reached him.
"Hmm!" Zhen smiled upon seeing this—this was his chance to strike.
He slashed his finger twice, each swing producing five slashes, each six meters long.
With his cultivation now increased, the slashes he produced were also larger.
Shua! Shua!
The wolves couldn't evade the slashes. They were sliced apart.
DING!
(You have killed two Level 6 Beasts. You gained 12 System Points!)
[System Points: 12]
Zhen's eyes gleamed at this result. He realized he could massacre these wolves.
BANG!
He stopped flying and landed in their midst, holding his sword with his left hand and transforming his right hand into a dragon's hand.
To his surprise, the bottom of the ravine wasn't as dark as it appeared from above—it seemed to be lit by a mysterious energy.
As soon as he landed, one Level 5 wolf pounced at him, claws ready.
He countered with a punch.
Boom!
The wolf's body instantly exploded from the impact of his dragon hand.
Just because it was larger didn't mean it could withstand the dragon's strength.
Unfortunately, killing a Level 5 Beast didn't seem to earn System Points. Only those equal to or stronger than him did.
Zhen then noticed one of the two Level 7 wolves charging at him.
It was massive and ran like lightning.
Zhen spontaneously slashed his sword at it.
He even used spatial power to shrink the distance from ten meters to one meter in an instant.
He was confident in his victory, so he had no fear.
As the sword slashed, five shadow slashes followed behind the real one.
The wolf opened its jaws to bite Zhen, but when it met the slashes, its fangs were instantly shredded.
Then, its mouth tore open, and the tear spread across its entire body.
Even a Level 7 Beast was no match for him—especially with Dragon Qi and a Tier 9 sword technique, even if he only grasped 5% of it.
DING!
(You have killed one Level 7 Beast. You gained 7 System Points!)
[System Points: 19]
"Hmph!"
Zhen didn't stop for a second. He struck the ground beneath him.
With his Stage Six cultivation, this strike was naturally different.
It shattered the ground, scattering dirt into the air, causing several wolves to stumble.
Zhen intended to kill all the wolves without leaving a single one. To him, this was training—failure wasn't an option.
After smashing the ground, he launched a wild attack, slaughtering wolves one after another.
From the sound of roars, the ravine soon turned into screams—brief and sharp, cut off by death.
The last Level 7 wolf also fell by his hand, along with all the Level 6s.
If even they died, the Level 5s stood no chance.
Zhen accumulated a total of 74 System Points.
