When I heard the voice and looked back it was Ethan he stood akimbo in a way ... and giving me a death stare I didn't even dare to say a word ,I have already done enough to get me sacked within minutes .
He didn't say another word ,he just walked passed me and entered the office " meet me inside " with that I followed him immediately .
" Have a seat Sophia , okay so am gonna go...."
I didn't allow him to finish since I already know it was a sack letter advise he was about to give me.
" sir I will do well to report my resignation letter ,I know deserve...
" Not just yet Sophia ,it's against the contract rule to fire you but you do get a punishment for breaking the rule by being late ..." with that I swallowed hard .

I knocked softly on the door twice and a voice behind it said "come in" .

" oh,your punishment you are to work overtime for the rest of the week taking in on all the meetings of our shareholders both in and out of the company and...

"oh and have a nice day " I went through what she just told me and I just realized that me going to that bar didn't help at all and it wasn't worth it but at least when my hangover heard what my punishment was it miraculously stop which am greatful for .
I went back to the office at least i wasn't sacked just yet or got cut off from my salary I went downstairs to make myself some coffee even though Ethan office had a coffee mixer..I just couldn't deal with his death stare... I mean I was just late it's not like I killed someone...I took a sip of my coffee and closed my eyes to feel the moment before a voice ruined it.
" so much for being punished soph" David said with smile on his face " I thought you'd be died by now or something"
I just rolled my eyes at him then I remembered what raven told me about who initiated the stupid rule ..." Micheal...
