Jayvaughn was typing quietly when Axel suddenly slammed his fist on the desk and shouted, "Fuck you, bastard! Why are you deleting everything and still running, fuck!"
Jayvaughn froze, blinking in surprise. It wasn't every day that Axel cursed so viciously. He turned his head toward him, eyes narrowed in confusion. "What happened?"
Axel's face was flushed with rage as he spun around in his seat. "Don't participate in the bid. It's a trap—specifically designed for you."
Jayvaughn raised an eyebrow at the sudden announcement. "A trap? What are you talking about?"
Axel didn't hesitate. His voice was sharp, controlled despite the anger simmering beneath. "I dug into the organizers of that bid. The company hosting it? It's new—suspiciously new—with an unusually large amount of funds backing it."
