Chapter 13 - Chapter Thirteen: Mirror in the Dreamsoil

The land spirit no longer controlled the dream.

The threadless figure had not attacked. Had not spoken. But every law within the dream-array had rewritten itself around its existence. It was not dream-path. It was not fate-path. And yet it could not be expelled.

In desperation, the fragment attempted a final gambit: a conjured memory of the original Star Constellation.

The vision flickered into place—graceful, starlit, calculating.

She raised her hand to strike.

But the threadless figure simply looked at her.

And the memory unraveled.

The stars that had formed her body fractured into equations that no longer had meaning.

Even memory could not define him.

The land spirit screamed—but only in silence. It could no longer dream. Only witness.
