Tasha bowed her head as she walked into the classroom. The whole class was noisy so nobody actually noticed her entrance, she sighed gratefully and walked to her seat quickly. As if on cue, Lily Williams entered looking flustered, she scanned the whole class, when her eyes landed on Tasha's, she sighed and went to her.
Lily Williams, average in height, with pink rosy lips that matches her light skin was Tasha's best friend, infact more than a best friend, she was more like a sister. The funniest part about their relationship was that they were not in the same class socially. Lily's parents were lawyers. Wealthy lawyers, one of the sought after in the country. They were not available all the time due to cases and all, but they made sure they provided the best for her and show her how much they love her monetarily. Being the only child, Lily was spoilt, whatever she asked for, she got. Despite all this, she was very humble, she doesn't look down on people and she loved Tasha. She would definitely do anything for Tasha.
Tasha's parents weren't poor. They were among the average set of people in the country. Her dad, Mr Adele tried his best to provide for his only child and wife, but the economy of the country wasn't in his favour.
Now, it wasn't that Tasha wasn't pretty, that made her a victim of bullying.
Tasha Adele was drop dead gorgeous. She was stunning, she had a shapely figure, with glossy skin that complemented her brown long hair. She was really ideal, but unfortunately, hatred, anger and pain makes Gusty and his friends see otherwise.
"What happened" Lily asked as she sat beside her. As Tasha opened her mouth to speak, Sharon and her friends buzzed in.
Tasha and Lily rolled their eyes at the same time and started laughing. Sharon turned and leered at them.
"Are you laughing at us?" she asked as she and her group of friends came to their desk.
"I don't get. Can't we laugh?, Or is it now a crime to laugh?" Tasha said
"We came in and you just burst into laughter. What is the cause of your laughter?" Sharon asked menacingly
"And do you think you can scare us?"Lily asked as she stood up.
"We don't owe you any explanation" Tasha said as she stood up and stared at Sharon in the eyes. Sharon burst into laughter and her minions laughed too.
"You're so brave because I'm a girl right, why don't you go tell this to Gusty and his friends" Sharon said, hissed loudly and went to her seat.
"I hate her"Lily said as she sat down shaking her head.
"I hate her more"Tasha replied sitting down.
Sharon Michael, Lucy Collins, Sandy Gabriel, Mandy Peter and Silver Samuel were friends, buddies infact. They went to the same schools, right from when they were little, lived in the same neighborhood and had extremely rich parents. They were beautiful, exquisite and fascinating girls. You can't pass by them and won't turn to take a second look. They were really gorgeous and because of it, they were proud. They believed they could get anything they wanted, their parents were always there for them. And they could also get any guy they want except the most handsome guys in school. And it was annoying, like wasn't she and her friends beautiful enough, Sharon always thought.
"That's by the way, what happened yesterday?" Lily asked as she turned to Tasha.
"Did anything happen?" Tasha asked feinging innocence. But unfortunately it wasn't working, Lily just cocked her head, looking at her knowingly.
"Fine" Tasha sighed "he caused it, he was being a bastard. You knows how they love bullying me" she added.
"I've told you to ignore them" Lily said
"You're saying this like it's my fault" Tasha said laughing bitterly "they hate me with passion and the feeling is mutual" she added. Lily shoke her head, she didn't know what to say anymore.
"Tasha plea..." Lily was saying when the bell rang. Lily sighed as they stood up.
"What I'm trying to say is that I love you Tasha, and I don't want anything bad to happen to you" Lily said facing Tasha.
"And I love you too" Tasha said and they hugged smiling.
"Now, let's get to the assembly fast, before we'll be at the back" Lily said.
As they got back to the class, they settled down waiting for the teacher to come in. Just then a shout was heard outside, they rushed outside to see what it was, and immediately Tasha regretted it. She scoffed and went back to her seat. Must they have to be so dramatic, Tasha thought as she sat down.
"What was that?" Lily asked, before Tasha could answer, her answer came in.
"Speaking of the devil" she scoffed and hissed loudly.
As Gusty and his friends came in, every where became silent. All the girls were lost, like damn, have you seen anything enticing today?. They were really breathtaking.
" Hey Gusty" a girl said and waved shyly.
Gusty smiled seductively and winked at her. She held her chest, she turned to her friends and began to scream "he winked at me, did you see, did you see that"
"Hey love, how you doing" Lucy murmured to Bose. Bose just looked at her, and shook his head. He didn't like her and her cycle of friends, they were so proud, like they were
so arrogant but he couldn't deny the fact that they were pretty, like damn.
Sophie looked at Gusty and smiled dreamily, what wasn't there to love about this guys, like they were cute,rich, famous
and they were all A grade students, what more do you need in a guy.
As Gusty walked to his desk, he got to Tasha's desk and slowed down. Their eyes locked for some minutes, he was about to say something when Sharon ran and hugged him.
Tasha didn't realize she was holding her breath until they broke contact. Damn, he was cute, like damn cute. Now she saw the reason girls were mooning over he and his friends, him especially.
"Gusty"Sharon murmured as she hugged him and pushed Tasha intentionally with her body. Tasha and Lily rolled their eyes.
"How you doing ron?"Gusty asked using the pet name he made for her. She smiled happily.
"I'm good, just missing you"She said and snuggled closer to him.
"Now I'm here" he said as he moved to his seat "you happy now?"
"Very"she replied smiling sweetly as she sat down next to him. Gusty shook his head slowly, what was it with ladies.
"Move" Miles said as he pushed Sharon out of the seat close to gusty's desk where she was occupying. Sharon feel down loudly and the whole class burst into laughter. Gusty raised his eyebrows at him.
"What?" Miles asked shrugging his shoulders innocently.
"She was about to eat you up" Munchy added as he came closer laughing.
"She asked for it" Zuba murmured, he went to Sharon and stretched his hand to help her but she slapped it away and he didn't even know when he burst into the laughter he has been holding.
Sharon friends ran to her and helped her up, she stood up fuming, she pointed her fingers at miles.
"How dare you?" She asked hotly.
"Please, spare me that crap"He said as he slapped her hand away. This got her angry the more.
"Can't you try to be nice" Sandy murmured at miles, she liked miles and wouldn't think of raising her voice at him.
"He wasn't speaking to you pip squeak" Munchy replied her and her face coloured with embarrassment. The whole class burst into laughter, infact Tasha laughed the loudest, she was really loving this.
"That was rude munchy" Silver reprimanded him but he leered at her badly that she turned her face away.
"What you all laughing at" Sharon said referring to the whole class and every one kept quiet, no body wanted to be her victim.
She turned to miles, huffed and moved away with her friends behind her. As she left, the class laughed the more, as they were laughing the announcement bell rang, signaling everyone to the hall.
