The girls in the underground nest open their eyes to me
A thousand eyes
Carefully asking
When can we see the light?
When can we return to the surface?
My oil lamp shattered into pieces
My father went insane
My castle became a nest
My stars were extinguished forever
Many years ago, Geoffrey glimpsed the Devil in the basement.
It lurked in the dark, bloody space, picking up the bodies of young girls and feeding them into its never-satisfied mouth and belly. Scarlet, viscous blood stained the horns on its forehead, its thick, coiled waist and tail.
Before Geoffrey could escape, he met the Devil's gaze.
It smiled at him, a malicious and eager grin.
— Peeping Tom.
That's what it called him.
Having fled the basement, Geoffrey contacted the National Capital Guard.
The once beautiful family fell apart; in despair, he attempted suicide, then the Devil plucked out Merry's eyeball before him.
The nightmare began.
From that day until now, he still lives in a nightmare.
