## Orion's POV
The hallway seemed to narrow as we stormed toward Seraphina's room, our gifts clutched in Lyra's and Elina's trembling hands. Rage pounded through my veins like molten lava. I'd spent hours selecting those roses, remembering a passing comment she'd made years ago about loving their deep red color. The chocolate had been imported from Switzerland—the exact brand she'd once mentioned dreaming of tasting.
And she'd rejected them all.
Kaelen reached her door first, pounding his fist against it with enough force to make the wood groan. "Seraphina! Open this door right now!"
No response.
Ronan snatched the dress he'd carefully selected from Elina's arms. "This is ridiculous," he growled. "We're her mates. She can't just shut us out."
"She can and she has," I muttered, the rejection stinging more than I wanted to admit. "Just like always."
Kaelen's jaw tightened as he tried the handle. Finding it unlocked, he pushed the door open without waiting for permission.
