Evelyn was silent, but she eventually relented, letting out a deep breath and wrapping her arms around Amber.
This might be good for her.
Every part of the deal she had with Zayne would be ending tomorrow. The last thing she really needed was sitting cooped up and curled under a duvet, bawling her eyes out and regretting things she could've done differently.

Zayne rushed down from his car, his steps hurried as he rushed into the building.
He had been restless throughout at work and no matter how hard he tried to swallow it down, he couldn't and had to eventually leave work.
Getting into the foyer, he was met by Agatha who held a packaged document.
"Sir?—"
"What is that?" he questioned.
She blinked and slowly approached him to hand the document over. "It was delivered to her a few minutes ago. The label on it says that it's for you."
