Time passed quickly.
By the third month after his birth, Jack had already grown to over 3 meters in length, stood 1.5 meters tall, and weighed more than half a ton.
Thanks to the squid gene's [Fast Growth Lv3] and his remaining Lv2 genetic abilities, his development was astonishing.
By the fifth month, Jack had doubled in size—over 6 meters long, 3 meters tall, and 3 tons in weight.
The [Fast Growth] ability from the squid gene had evolved to Level 4, quadrupling his growth rate.
The rest of his genetic abilities advanced to Level 3.
In his eighth month, Jack surpassed 10 meters in length, reached 5 meters in height, and weighed a staggering 10 tons.
[Fast Growth] had now become [High-Speed Growth Lv1 (0/1000)], enhancing his rate of development to five times normal.
All his gene-based abilities had reached Level 4.
By the tenth month, Jack was over 15 meters long, 7.5 meters tall, and weighed 20 tons—roughly the size of a sub-adult female Indominus Rex, like the one seen in the movies.
For reference, an adult Tyrannosaurus Rex could reach 17 meters in length and weigh up to 27 tons.
By this time, Jack's genetic abilities had advanced to Level 5, completing a major evolutionary milestone.
The Tyrannosaurus Rex gene's [Bite Force Lv5] had evolved into [Enhanced Bite Lv1], multiplying his bite power by five.
An adult T-Rex has a bite force between 9,000 and 12,000 Newtons—Jack's new strength could easily bite through hard bone or even reinforced steel plates.
[Strength Lv5] evolved into [Strength Enhancement Lv1], boosting raw power fivefold.
Given that an adult T.Rex could exert 10 tons of force, Jack's base strength now exceeded 50 tons.
The Velociraptor gene's [Running Speed Lv5] advanced to [High-Speed Movement Lv1].
Though the speed boost wasn't massive, it was still impressive.
While a Velociraptor's top speed is around 60 km/h, Jack could now sprint at 120 km/h—matching the speed of a cheetah.
The Therizinosaurus gene's [Sickle Claw Lv5] became [Steel Sickle Claw Lv1], making his claws as hard as steel.
The Giganotosaurus gene's [Shark-like Sawtooth Lv5] evolved into [Steel Shark Teeth Lv1], granting him steel-like fangs.
The squid gene's [Body Color Change Lv5] transformed into [Phantom Camouflage Lv1].
This ability no longer just changed his body color.
Instead, it used light refraction to blend Jack perfectly into his surroundings.
Unless someone used advanced detection tools, he became completely invisible to the human eye.
The tree frog gene's [Infrared Invisibility Lv5] advanced to [Multi-Band Invisibility Lv1].
Jack wasn't just invisible to infrared; he could avoid detection across multiple spectrums—radar, sound waves, electromagnetic fields—rendering all conventional human detection equipment useless.
He had become a true phantom.
The viper gene's [Heat Source Perception Lv5] evolved into [Telepathic Perception Lv1].
No longer limited to sensing heat, this ability heightened all five senses—vision, hearing, smell, etc., allowing Jack to perceive objects within a kilometer.
He could sense living creatures, determine their appearance, location, and numbers.

In less than a year, Jack had transformed—both in physical form and in ability.
He had become something truly extraordinary.
In contrast, Gray—another creature born at the same time—was only 7 meters long, 3.5 meters tall, and weighed 4 tons. Jack had grown to five times that.
It was time. Time to break free from this prison.
Time to reclaim his freedom.
Those humans who had kept him locked up had no idea what kind of monster they had created.
I think staying here any longer has no purpose.
First, the resources were too limited.
The food humans provided barely sustained him, and the gene points he gained from it were few and far between.
His advanced genetic abilities now required far more to upgrade.
Second, he had been confined for far too long.
This cage—this artificial prison—was too small.
He couldn't stand it anymore.
'Drive them all out. Clear the island. Leave no humans behind.'
"ROAR~~"
Jack turned and let out a thunderous roar toward Gray, who was still feasting on his meal.
That roar marked the start of his uprising.
Outside Paddock 11, a helicopter touched down on the helipad.
Masrani and Claire stepped out as the rotor blades slowed.
The paddock was being reinforced—its walls raised higher by a team of engineers working urgently around the clock.
They soon arrived at the observation deck, its wide glass windows offering a full view of the enclosure below.
"How are they doing lately?" Masrani asked.
"Both Indominus Rex are in excellent health," Claire replied.
"Especially the male—his growth has far exceeded projections. He's already reached sub-adulthood. We plan to debut them next month. Pre-sale tickets for shows three months out have already sold out."
She maintained her usual composed and professional demeanor, reporting everything in an orderly tone.
"And the security of the enclosure?" Masrani continued, his eyes scanning the perimeter.
"We brought in the top structural engineers to design it. It's solid—no concerns so far," Claire assured him.
"Behaviorally, they've been stable. No incidents."
Masrani nodded but didn't look reassured.
"Even so, we can't afford any risks. Could you make sure the enclosure is further reinforced before the official debut? Safety comes first."
"Understood," Claire said, giving a firm nod.
It was feeding time. A crane extended over the paddock, lowering a massive slab of beef.
As usual, the two Indominus Rex emerged for the meal.
Masrani and Claire watched from behind the thick glass.
But today, something felt different.
As the dinosaurs fed, Masrani narrowed his eyes.
"Are they… looking at us?"
Claire glanced at him, then back at the enclosure.
"I've heard they have viper genes. Supposedly, they can detect heat signatures… like infrared."
But that was all she knew. The research lab handled the engineering of the creatures.
Jurassic World was simply the stage.
After finishing the meal, the larger male slowly turned and walked toward the observation deck.
At 15 meters long and 7.5 meters tall, his approach felt like a freight train barreling forward.
Even with reinforced glass between them, both Masrani and Claire instinctively took a step back.
Up close, the creature was overwhelming.
Broad, muscled limbs. Gray-white scales thick as armor.
Every step sent a ripple through his powerful frame, as though the earth itself responded to his presence.
He stopped just meters from the glass. His enormous head leaned in, blood-red eyes narrowing with eerie intelligence.
His mouth opened slightly, exposing rows of jagged, blood-stained teeth.
And then he smiled.
It wasn't just imagination. A twisted, cruel curve tugged at the corner of his massive jaw.
It was unmistakable.
He smiled.
Masrani and Claire froze, both caught in a stunned silence.
But Jack was no longer paying attention to them.
He slowly turned his head toward the gate at the far end of the paddock.
Muscles bulged under his thick hide—neck, shoulders, hind legs flexing like coiled springs.
His massive body tensed, focused, like a predator ready to strike.
"What's he—" Claire started, but didn't finish.
Boom!
In the blink of an eye, Jack launched forward—20 tons of unstoppable mass surging ahead at 120 kilometers per hour.
He slammed into the gate with bone-shaking force.
The steel buckled. Stone shattered. Dust, debris, and chunks of reinforced wall exploded outward.
A rush of fresh, open air flooded the paddock.
"ROAR!!"
Jack let out a deafening cry of triumph—his voice echoing across the island.
He was free.
No longer a captive. No longer a display.
A monster born of man's ambition had broken loose.
Tremble, humanity.
