The Setting: Konoha - Uchiha Compound.
'The light is blinding more than usual, the bed is too hard; The salesman explicitly said "Don't worry, the bed's comfort will last Twenty years!" What a load of bullshit. It feels no better than a mat on the floor.'Soren Uchiha thought as he curled up, pressing his knees against his chest, curling into a fetal position. 'Mm... better...'
Soren's thoughts settled in his mind for only a few more moments before he heard clinging in the background, kids probably. 'They've never been so loud before,' Soren thought, he outreached his hand to try and grab his cellphone to play music to drown out the noises, it's always on his nightstand there ready for him.
Soren was confused when he didn't grab it in the first couple of seconds, when he opened his eyes he was met with confusion, immediate fear, especially when a crash occurred.
"FIRE STYLE: FIRE BALL JUTSU"HHHUUUHPMMFFFFFHOO!The sound of burning grass in the distance was heard as well as disgruntled cries of 'cheating'.
Soren heard none of it—his eyes were glued to the symbol on his wall. The early morning light made it clear as day: the Uchiha Clan's symbol from Naruto standing proud right at the centerpiece of his wall.
He looked around and saw the place had wooden walls as opposed to his regular drywall, some bowls of food instead of his controllers, sprawl about clothes instead of his posters, his Mini-fridge was gone!
He looked down at himself and realized he wasn't even himself!He was a chubby kid!
He immediately yelled bloody murder, fear and confusion making him lose all sense of composure."AHHHHHHH!!!!!"
He immediately started to hyperventilate, he heard hustling loom closer, he felt like throwing up, he jolted up and looked at his body more to figure out what was going on.
He stood at 5'3" (160cm) and was definitely hefty. If he were to try and make a guess on his weight just by the look of himself he'd say he was 135 pounds (61kgs) and ten years old. His stomach was poking out of his tight shirt and he was wearing shorts with sandals.
He was in shock, horrified at being in a body not of his own. He didn't get to comment or look at himself too much though—
His father, Nidai Takura, barged in, wielding a sword unskillfully, flailing around and yelling—
"G-GET AWAY FROM MY BOY!!!"
He was dumbfounded when he merely saw his son standing up looking in shock from his appearance. Both of them stared at one another for a couple seconds. If a gust of wind blew you'd surely be able to hear it.
Soren spoke first. He put his hand up and waved at his father but his arm remained by his side."H...Hi?"
Nidai frowned immediately and put the sword down."ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? WHERE DO YOU GET OFF SLEEPING IN ALL DAY JUST TO SCREAM LIKE YOU'RE BEING MURDERED! YOUR MOTHER WILL HEAR THIS WHEN SHE GETS HOME!"
He walked over a few paces and attempted to punch the top of Soren's head. Soren took an instinctive step back and tried to dodge it, but he ultimately tumbled as he was unfamiliar with his current body.
He fell on the floor pathetically, which made Nidai laugh loudly, the anger dissipating from his body within moments.
"Hahaha! That happens when you mess with me! The ultimate ninja of the leaf! Wooaaaaah!"He flexed his muscles and turned away.
Nidai looked back at his son and said, his voice soft and concerned:"You okay though champ?"
Soren nodded as a response, although he felt more embarrassed than in pain. He was also confused about the relation between himself and the man who just entered, especially due to the seemingly odd mood swing from Nidai.
Nidai left the room without a second notice, forgetting the sword.
Soren looked down at his body before looking at his surroundings. He needed direction.
'Where the hell am I? Who am I? That crest is definitively from the Naruto world—the Uchiha family—but... that's not what this is, right? That'd be literally impossible. I've read manhwa where that were to happen but that's not based in reality. I... don't really know what other answers would be though since my literal entire body has changed. If it didn't, I'd think I was just in a prank, or...something.'
He sighed before saying to himself:
"Okay... best case scenario is this is fake because I do not want to deal with what happens if I really am a Uchiha. Worst case is this is real..."He shuddered as he looked at the Uchiha crest.
He closed his eyes tightly and whispered:
"There's no place like home, there's no place like home..."He took a deep breath, held it in for three Mississippi's before releasing it with a smile.
He opened his eyes and immediately saw the Uchiha family crest again.
"Shit."
