Elena's POV
"You lost the right to reach me the day you betrayed me."
"I didn't betray you," he said, jaw tight. "I made a mistake. I was trying to survive."
"No," I snapped. "You were trying to win. And when you couldn't, you picked Amira. You picked power. You left me bleeding."
His voice dropped lower.
"You don't understand what it did to me when you left. When you walked out like we were nothing."
"We were nothing," I hissed. "The second you chose her."
His eyes darkened, but his voice stayed calm. Too calm.
"I still want you, Elena."
I laughed. Cold. Sharp.
"You don't want me. You want control. That's what this is."
He didn't deny it.
Just stood there.
Looking at me like I still belonged to him.
"Do you even know what you did to me, Damian?"
My voice cracked—but I didn't stop.
"You took everything that was mine. You made fun of me. You humiliated me in front of the world."
He opened his mouth. I didn't let him speak.
