It had been five days since Lira began living in Myrelion's home.
What surprised him wasn't the ease with which she adapted—but how quietly she became part of the atmosphere. She moved softly, spoke only when spoken to, and always wore a gentle, almost serene smile despite the occasional pain from her growing belly.
Myrelion had caught himself watching her more than once.
She was… beautiful, though he had never bothered with such thoughts before. Her reddish-orange hair, soft and wild, shimmered under morning light. Her fox ears, though twitching with occasional nerves, perked up whenever he entered the room. Her eyes, a deep and pure red, held no hatred—only gratitude.
When she brewed tea, her tail would sway gently behind her.
When she hummed while sweeping, it was a melody that calmed the very air around her.

"Would you like more honey in your tea, Myrelion-sama?"
