Chapter 28 - Chapter 26: The End of All Stories

All of existence paused.

The vast multiverse—its heavens, hells, dimensions, timelines—stood breathless as the Kingly Ruler of Above, his cloak forged of eternal order, descended to the Lawless Realm.

The air itself receded.

Words failed. Memory buckled.

Even Anu, fierce and unyielding, instinctively stepped back.

Yet Vatae did not.

The curtain between creator and creation had lifted.

And in that holy, dreadful silence, the Kingly Ruler of Above finally spoke:

"You speak truths long buried, Vatae.

You are indeed what I could not destroy…

A doubt I dared not accept."

---

The Creator's Whisper

Then another voice—older, wider, and quieter than silence—echoed across all planes.

The voice of the Ancestral Creator of All Things.

"You all have done well."

Every being across the infinite multiverse dropped to their knees.

Entire pantheons screamed and exploded into dust.

False gods melted. Star lords wept.

The truth had come.

"But now… my dream must end.

You were all notes in a melody.

But even songs, if they go on forever, become noise."

---

Rebellion of the Forgotten

But Anu, bruised and burning with chaos, refused.

"No! I rose through nothing!

I conquered demons, devils, undying ones!

You will not end me with a whisper!"

He burst forward with everything—the Ten Thousand Laws, the Weight of Infinite Chaos, the Memory of Endless War.

His blow could have erased creation itself.

But Vatae stepped forward.

With only a hand.

He caught the blow.

And the universe stilled.

"You cannot win, Anu," Vatae whispered.

"Because this is not your story anymore.

It is ours."

Vatae's body cracked, revealing a light older than time.

He turned to Cal, Sul, and Moac—bloodied, weary, crowned no more.

"You are no longer bound.

You are now... free."

---

The Death of the Crown

With a final breath, Vatae stepped into the Creator's voice.

And he did the unthinkable.

He did not bow.

He embraced it.

"You are me. I am you.

And so let us write no more stories.

Let us rest."

The Ancestral Creator, silent for infinite aeons, smiled.

The Crown shattered.

The Will of the Unchosen dissolved.

The Kingly Ruler of Above vanished.

And Vatae, for a moment, became everything.

Then…

Nothing.

---

Rebirth

A single ripple echoed across the dead multiverse.

From it, new time grew.

New laws.

No gods. No rulers.

Just possibility.

Sul awakened beside Moac and Cal, in a universe with no titles, no crowns, only stars yet unnamed.

Anu?

Gone.

But not forgotten.

Because now… all would remember what it means to choose their own fate.
