Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 The Prince and the Little Mermaid

Yu Chu: "…"

If it was any other reason, it would be fine, but since they had said so, she couldn't just keep begging for mercy...

An Moer's words were originally full of bad taste. Looking at the tangled expression on the girl's face, he smiled, but his heart was calm.

It was an exception that he was willing to carry her all the way, and now that someone else could take over, that couldn't be better.

Yu Chu finally nodded: "Well...well, just put me down here..."

The little mermaid glanced at her with her beautiful ice-blue eyes, and was about to let her go into the sea. The girl suddenly hugged him tightly again, raised her head and asked:

"By the way, what's your name? I'll be back at sea in a few days. What do you want in return?"

She actually remembered to repay him.

An Moer felt a little amused, but when his icy blue eyes met those brown eyes, his expression paused, then he bit his bright red lips and whispered:

"...My name is...An Moer."

"Anmoer." The girl repeated it, as if with a slightly gentle tone, which made the little mermaid's eyes darker. A strange feeling flowed in his heart, and suddenly he felt a little irritated.

Before Yu Chu could see the cold expression on the beautiful boy's face, he unceremoniously loosened his hands and pushed her away from him.

The surging sea water submerged her in an instant.

Yu Chu struggled with tears in her eyes. After choking on the water, her cheeks turned red. She spat out the salty sea water and waved desperately at the boat:

"Hey - help -"

The little mermaid, who had already swam a distance away, paused for a moment, held onto a rock protruding from the sea, frowned slightly, and looked back.

The girl's body fragrance seemed to still linger around, but the soft touch and warmth were gone.

The people on the boat soon found the prince who had fallen into the water, and the servants worked together to rescue the prince onto the boat and put a snow-white bath towel on him. A beautiful princess walked out of the crowd, took out a handkerchief with concern, blushed slightly, and wiped the other's wet forehead.

The prince's brown pupils reflected the sunlight, and his dazzling gold hair softly pressed against his neck, but he did not look embarrassed at all, and was still gentle and elegant. He said gently:

"My name is Ryan, thank you for saving me, Princess."

Princess Daelina held up her skirt and saluted him:

"No need to thank me, it's an honor to meet you. So you are Prince Ryan... When my ship passed the sea ahead, I heard that His Highness had fallen into the sea, and I was very worried... I'm glad you're okay."

In the eyes of others, Yu Chu was indeed saved by the princess, so he had no choice but to follow the aristocratic etiquette and politely kiss the back of the girl's hand:

"No, I must thank the princess. If it weren't for you, I would have been buried in the sea."

Princess Dalina blushed and whispered:

"No, you are too kind..."

On the sea not far away, a handsome young man watched the scene expressionlessly.

His slender white fingers gently pressed against the hard reef, half of his icy blue hair was exposed in the sun, and the other half was submerged in the azure water, rippling beautifully.

But in those same icy blue eyes, there was a cold and indifferent emotion.

He lowered his eyes and pursed his thin lips like petals.

The mermaid's existence should not be known to others, and in front of the people on the ship, she should do this - show gratitude to the other person and promise to repay him as she had promised him.
