Chapter 3 - Love by Destiny

As soon as Vairagya appeared at the Udaipur airport, the media swarmed him like they'd found a priceless treasure. Camera flashes were going off, and reporters were bombarding him with questions, but he ignored them all and quickly got into his luxurious car. In a calm yet firm voice, he said to the driver, "Rajvansh Hotels."

The driver nodded without a word. Vairagya settled into his seat, turned on his laptop, and got to work, his eyebrows furrowed in concentration.

Meanwhile, Vijay ji and Rajveer arrived at the Udaipur railway station. Rajveer was carrying a heavy bag, while Vijay ji wiped the sweat from his forehead with his shirt and hesitantly approached an auto rickshaw driver.

"Rajvansh Hotels, will you go?" he asked.

The rickshaw driver nodded, and both of them got in. Vijay ji let out a sigh of relief, while Rajveer looked around curiously, soaking in the new city.

"Papa… one day I'll make a name for myself in Udaipur. I'll open a hotel here so grand that people won't be able to take their eyes off it," Rajveer said, his eyes capturing the city's sparkle.

Vijay ji affectionately ran a hand through his hair, but there was a hint of sadness in his smile. "Son, dreaming is good—but sometimes, it's important to stay grounded in reality too."

A shadow of disappointment crossed Rajveer's face for a moment, but the very next moment, hope returned to his eyes as he looked out once again.

Soon, their old rickshaw stopped at the grand entrance of Rajvansh Hotels. They paid the fare together and hesitantly stepped inside.

At the reception, Vijay ji politely spoke to the receptionist, who coldly asked them to wait in the lounge area.

After a few minutes of silence, Rajveer said, "Papa, I'm just going to the washroom. Please wait for me here."

Vijay ji looked at him with concern. "Okay son, but come back quickly."Rajveer nodded and left.

Vairagya was heading toward the meeting room when he accidentally bumped into a guest holding a cup of coffee. The coffee spilled all over him.

"I'm so sorry, Mr. Vairagya Rajvansh… I didn't do it on purpose. Please, let me take you to your room and help you clean up..." The girl smiled and tried to move closer, but Vairagya held up his hand to stop her and walked straight to the washroom.

He was furiously trying to clean his shirt. He was already running late, and now this stubborn stain refused to budge. His irritation was clearly visible on his face.

Rajveer walked in, used the washroom, and was about to leave when he noticed Vairagya.

He hesitated for a moment, then said, "Hey, is there a problem?"

Vairagya didn't respond.

"Umm... looks like you're here for an interview and messed up your shirt by accident, right?" Rajveer guessed.

Vairagya looked at him in surprise. He was Vairagya Rajvansh, and this boy didn't even recognize him! A strange expression crossed his face. He simply nodded.

"No worries, do one thing—take my shirt," Rajveer offered, reaching to remove it. "It might be a bit snug, but better than that stained one…"

"What's the reason for this kindness?" Vairagya asked, staring at him.

"No reason…" Rajveer shrugged, his smile easy. "I know getting a job at Rajvansh Hotel is a dream for many… and if your career is getting affected just because of a stain, I thought I'd help. If you don't want the help, that's fine too…" he said, raising his hands as if it didn't matter.

"And what about your interview?" Vairagya asked—this guy was getting interesting.

"I'm not here for an interview… my sister's wedding is going to be in this hotel. I've come to meet the manager for the deal…" Rajveer replied confidently. "Besides, Rajveer Singhania wasn't born to work under anyone—I'll open a hotel one day so grand that people will crave to work there…" His eyes gleamed with a golden dream.

Vairagya smiled faintly, impressed by the boy's confidence and vision. "Good… okay, give me your shirt then."

Rajveer quickly took off his shirt and handed it over. Vairagya put it on. Rajveer wore his shirt—it was a bit loose, so he rolled up the sleeves and tucked it into his pants.

Once worn, the stain was no longer visible. Vairagya thought to himself, "Impressive…"

Rajveer smiled and started to walk out, when Vairagya called out behind him, "Thanks."

Rajveer waved casually, as if it was no big deal.

Vairagya quickly exited the washroom and told his assistant, "The guy sitting outside—Rajveer Singhania—keep him here until my meeting's over."

The assistant nodded without question and hurried after Vairagya.

When Rajveer returned, his father asked, "How did your shirt change?"Rajveer told him everything, and Vijay ji smiled, "Very well done, son… proud of you." He felt proud of his son's kind nature.

Just then, Vairagya's assistant approached, speaking a bit formally, "Sir, sorry for the wait. Actually, Mr. Rajvansh would like to meet you personally, so please wait a little longer. Meanwhile, please enjoy some tea and snacks." He signaled to the attendant nearby.

Rajveer smiled and said, "Thanks, sir… but we didn't come here for tea. Just kindly arrange the meeting with Mr. Rajvansh as soon as possible."

"Yes, sir, of course…" the assistant replied and walked off.

Rajveer picked up a business magazine nearby and started reading, while Vijay ji began browsing his phone.

After the meeting, Vairagya told his assistant to go and bring Rajveer.

"Mr. Rajveer… sir is waiting for you. Please come this way," the assistant said politely.

Rajveer looked at Vijay ji, who seemed a bit nervous—maybe at the thought of meeting such a big hotel owner. Rajveer held his father's hand and said reassuringly, "Papa, I'm here."

Vijay ji smiled and held his hand tightly. His son's confidence gave him a little courage.
