Chapter 14 - Chapter 13: Hunt begins

Han Dae Su stepped out of his basement sanctuary and into the cold night air. The city's distant hum felt faint beneath the pounding in his chest — years of rage and training had distilled into this moment.

His towering frame cut a terrifying silhouette beneath the flickering streetlights. Broad shoulders draped in a simple black jacket, fists clenched so tight his knuckles showed white. Every step echoed like a judge's gavel.

He wasn't just a man anymore. He was a force of nature.

Tonight, the first name on his list waited.

Min Jae — the loudmouth bully who had tormented him with insults, jeers, and cruel pranks. The one who thought himself untouchable, protected by the others' arrogance.

Han Dae Su didn't bother with weapons or tricks. His hands were enough.

He found Min Jae stumbling out of a cheap bar, slurring, the scent of alcohol thick on his breath.

"Min Jae," Han Dae Su's voice was a low growl that froze the man in place.

Min Jae laughed nervously, trying to back away. "Wh-who the hell are you?"

No answer.

Han Dae Su closed the distance in a heartbeat.

With the strength of a hundred storms, his hand wrapped around Min Jae's throat. Flesh compressed, eyes bulged, panic rising in the man's gaze.

But Han Dae Su's grip was iron — merciless and unyielding.

With a sickening crunch, Min Jae's windpipe collapsed under the pressure.

His body convulsed, clawing uselessly at Han Dae Su's arm.

The street fell silent — just the ragged gasps of a dying man.

Then, with a final, cruel twist, Han Dae Su squeezed until the life drained from Min Jae's eyes.

He dropped the limp body to the ground, cold and broken.

A dark smile flickered on Han Dae Su's lips.

One down.

The others would hear.

And now, the hunt was truly on.

The next morning, the city awoke to shocking news.

Min Jae's lifeless body was found sprawled in an alley near the bar — his neck grotesquely crushed, no signs of struggle, no witnesses. The police swarmed the scene, flashing cameras and yellow tape marking the grim scene.

Detectives whispered theories — a mugging gone wrong, a gang hit, maybe a mysterious new killer stalking the streets.

But no one guessed the truth.

At a sleek high-rise overlooking the city, a luxury office hummed with cold authority.

Lee Sung Ho, CEO of a sprawling conglomerate, sat behind his massive desk, the morning news playing on a large screen. His face darkened as he saw the report.

Min Jae was his son — reckless, spoiled, but family.

Sung Ho's fingers clenched into fists. "Whoever did this... will pay."

Across the city, similar offices buzzed with tension.

The fathers of the other nine bullies — businessmen, politicians, crime lords — all learned of Min Jae's death.

Calls were made. Meetings convened.

A silent war was about to erupt.

Meanwhile, the remaining bullies gathered in their usual hangout, eyes wide with fear.

"Who... who could've done this?" one stammered.

"We need to be ready," another whispered.

The hunter was no longer hiding in the shadows.

Han Dae Su's name was still unknown, but his message was clear.

And the city would soon learn — the reckoning had begun.
