In the North Blue, on Swallow Island, a child was seen sleeping in the bay of the beach, he was covered in a blue colored jewels all around his body, with an expression that looked like he was in pain, after a moment, the child woke up, screaming as the pain became more unbearable and it keeps increasing its intensity.

Leonard woke up screaming, feeling an intense burning sensation in his body, when he opened his eyes, what he saw was the horizon of the beach, something that he did not remember being on, briefly forgetting the pain that his body was feeling, Leonard then looked around, still with the shock and panic overpowering the pain, while he saw a vial with liquid inside and a note in its side, reading the note, it says,
'Dear Leonard,
This is the guy who transported you to this world, I hope you can forgive this old man's mistake as I accidentally killed you in your sleep, to compensate, I transported you in your favorite anime, One Piece, in the body that you designed for you fanfiction, and also as an additional compensation, I also added the Essence of Self so that you would not have to worry that you would immediately die in this world, you can us it cure the sickness you set your character to have, now, with that out of the way, I hope you enjoy your time here before we meet again when you die once again, but don't hurry meeting me yet, anyways this is it.'
As Leonard read the note, he now realized the situation he were in, he was in an island where in One Piece, Leonard then drinked the liquid in the vial, where the effect was immediate, Leonard felt that his body was getting stronger and the pain was slowly subsidizing, until when a burst of pain hit him again, this time, more than 10 times in the original, making Leonard pass out.

While Leonard passed out, 4 kids was biking on the beach as they are looking for scraps to sell in the town, the three of them looked like normal human while the other one just looked like a polar bear, while biking, the polar bear suddenly felt tired and wanted to have a picnic near the ocean, the three of them then agreed, where they go towards the beach closer.
As they are walking, they saw a body that was lying on the sands, passed out on his own without anyone, from his clothes, the first reaction of the of the polar bear like creature was to save him, thinking that he was injured when a pirate attacks the ship that he was on, whereas the kid with a hat rejected it.
"Hey, what are you doing? He's an outsider. What if he's a son of some dangerous criminals, and the marines wanted to find him, if we save him, we could be arrested by the marines for harboring a criminal," the one with wearing a hat said, as he was also wanted by the marines and did not want to attract unnecessary attention.
"But, Law, if he is sick, he could die if we just let him here," The polar bear said, revealing the name of the child wearing a hat, as the Trafalgar D. Waterlaw, the one that would be the future captain of Heart Pirates and the owner of Ope Ope no mi, this is what made Law a target from marines, they are the dogs of World Government and they wanted the Devil Fruit of Law.
While Law was thinking of ways to reject Bepo, who was just staring at Law with a cute expression on his face, as if a stuffed bear animal, Bepo was unconsciously using the weakness of Law until he broke.
"Alright, let's bring him to Wolf-san, if he agrees, then I don't have any reason to reject him," Law said, turning around to not see the face of Bepo, who carried Leonard. They then went back to the place where they had parked their bikes and goes back to the house of Wolf who was in the process of creating something.
"Who's that? Another one to feed?" Wolf said, as if he were a heartless person, but in truth, Wolf is an incredibly kind adult who would take care of Law, Bepo, Penguin, and Shachi.
"We found him lying on the beach, we thought that he was washed ashore due to a shipwreck, maybe or a pirate attack," Law said, while Bepo put down Leonard in the bed near the table of Wolf's workshop.
"If he can pull his weight, he can stay here, but tell him that if he can't, then he would be kicked out," Wolf said, not really meaning the last part, but serving as a warning to the 4 to not be lazy, they then nodded repeatedly before leaving as they have work to do, leaving only Wolf and Leonard in the house.

While Wolf was designing his new invention, he was also checking about the condition of Leonard, at first, Leonard was fine, just passed out and but still breathing steadily, but after an hour later, when Wolf checked him again, he felt that Leonard was burning, like having a fever but much worse, as if Leonard was literally on fire, Wolf then panicked and grabbed a water bucket, which he immediately poured towards Leonard, but it was useless, it just produced steam while Leonard was still sleeping, with his expression being hurt.
After another hour, Leonard unconsciously generated flame, as it came out all over his body, burning the bed and pillow Leonard was sleeping on, while Wolf was just looking at the scene with shock, as he thought that the kid sleeping in his bed is a Devil Fruit user, and not just any devil fruits, it was a Logia, that allowed the user to become the Flame human.
Wolf once read about it in a Devil Fruit encyclopedia that they found before as his son attacked a marine vessel transporting a Devil Fruit with the encyclopedia. Thinking that Leonard would be fine as even though he was on fire, he was not going to be affected by it.
Another hour passed by and the color of the flames that was coming out of Leonard was now different, from the original color of Orange, now, it was becoming more and more red, as it was also becoming hotter and hotter, even the range was also becoming hotter, unbeknownst to Wolf, the reason why the changes was appearing in Leonard's body, was because he was inheriting the memories of his body, making him see the torture that his body experienced.
