Bilial's roar shakes the gold-veined marble walls of the penthouse office.
"We're going to lose billions!" he snarls, his fanged mouth dripping venomous fury. "Investigations, sanctions, frozen assets… our numbers are going to tank. Months of damage. Months!"
He raises a clawed hand and brings it crashing through a long obsidian table with a single strike. It shatters like glass, shards skittering across the polished floor.
Virgil doesn't flinch.
The demon wheels around, nostrils flaring. "You sit there like a corpse bride and do nothing?"
"I'm thinking," Virgil replies coolly, swirling the amber liquid in his crystal tumbler. "You should try it sometime."
Bilial's lips curl into a snarl. Slowly, he straightens his bright blue suit and walks forward with an eerie calm, the scent of sulfur wafting in his wake. His cloven shoes click sharply as he crosses the room.
Virgil's shoulders stiffen as Bilial drew close.
