The final shimmer of daylight filters through the massive skylights of the expo hall as vendors pack up booths and assistants buzz about like worker bees closing a hive. But at Venevra's display, energy still crackles through the air.
Lucien tucks away the last of the display tablets while Elsuana checks her data logs one last time. Vaela stands at the center, arms crossed, glowing with satisfaction.
"Well," Elsuana mutters, stunned, "this has been a suprisingly productive day! We drew way more interest than I anticipated."
"You can thank me for that," Lilith says with a lazy grin, lounging across two chairs with a skirt hiked higher than legally acceptable and a thick stack of business cards draped across her lap like a spoiled cat hoarding playing cards.
Elsuana raises a brow. "I don't even want to know what you told half of them."
