"You've clearly put a lot of thought into this. How long have you been planning it?"
Uchiha Chiri looked at her son, eyes gleaming with pride and amazement.
Her son just kept surprising her.
Back then, she and the other elders in power had considered how to ease tensions between the Police Force and the villagers. But none of them had a solution that truly worked.
Now, hearing Genkei's plan, everything clicked into place.
"It's true—sending elite Uchiha out to deal with petty disputes and argue with villagers was demeaning and thankless."
"This work should be handed over to civilian or allied clan shinobi."
"The Uchiha can step back, serve as impartial judges, and preserve their authority."
"Establishing an elite unit within the Police Force will also help forge a true combat core for the clan. And that, in turn, will deter the Third Hokage's circle."
"Let's do it your way."
"What about the clan's education system? Do you have ideas for that too?"
She looked at her son with open anticipation.
In her eyes, this was clearly the product of his sage inheritance, combined with his own brilliance.
"I do," Genkei nodded firmly. "Right now, clan schooling is nearly nonexistent."
"I propose we establish:
A pre-academy youth training class,
An after-school enhancement course for academy students,
Special training units for Genin and Chūnin,
And an advanced learning exchange group for Jōnin."
"For the pre-academy group, we'll teach:
Ideological education,
Shinobi history,
Uchiha history,
Basic physical training,
And kunai/shuriken techniques."
In short—every stage of Uchiha shinobi development must enter full grind mode.
Letting things slide like before?
Unacceptable.
How could the clan uphold its pride with such lax standards?
He, as the clan heir, was working this hard—how could the rest of them slack off?
He wouldn't allow it.
"I'll soon review all of the clan's physical techniques and training methods," he added. "From that, I'll compile and refine a new, comprehensive training program for the younger children and students."
"Also, the pre-academy class will receive a newly enhanced herbal soak formula I've optimized from our current versions. We'll build strong foundations early."
"And we can offer small portions of Sea King meat—though we'll need to keep that secret for now."
"In fact, I plan to develop a condensed, disguised version of it—something like a fortified ration pill. Let's call it a 'nutrition capsule' for now."
"For that, Mom, I'll need all of the clan's recipes and knowledge on soldier pills."
If you want a strong clan, start from childhood.
And above all else—Genkei placed the most weight on ideological education.
He was already compiling a curriculum—based on his past life's understanding and the realities of the shinobi world—to instill healthy values and correct principles.
You couldn't change adults easily.
So he'd start with the children.
Once he or Chiri reached a level of strength where no one in the clan could challenge them, then they could enforce ideological reform across all age groups.
"No problem," Chiri replied. "That's easy. I'll retrieve the formulas later today."
"But… you seem especially focused on ideological education. Why is that?"
"Why?" Genkei sighed. His mind flashed to Uchiha Itachi and the overly idealistic Shisui.
"You only have to look at their stories to understand."
"It proves how critical it is to instill proper values from a young age."
"If we don't claim the high ground of ideology, Hiruzen and his cronies will feed our youth their twisted version of the 'Will of Fire'—brainwashing them to turn against their own people."
Chiri's expression turned grave. "I see. That's something I overlooked. You're right—ideological instruction is crucial."
"And that's not all," Genkei continued. "The adults need it too."
"The current hardliners in the clan? They're all influenced by those stubborn elders from the Warring States era."
"They were taught that mindless aggression and rebellion are the solution."
"They're actually talking about a coup—going to war with the entire village using only the clan? That's lunacy."
Even if they won, they'd lose.
The Uchiha were co-founders of the village.
Why couldn't they work patiently to reclaim their political power from within?
Chiri frowned. "It's true that adult minds are more rigid. Changing them won't be easy—you have to be aware of that."
"I know." Genkei nodded. "That's why I won't try to reform them right away. We'll start with the next generation."
He then went into detail about his plans for the after-school programs, the Genin and Chūnin special units, the Jōnin exchange group, and a fully structured merit-reward system within the clan.
Only after hashing out all the plans with his mother did the conversation wind down.
"Oh, right—one more thing!"
Just as Chiri was preparing to leave, Genkei called her back, sounding a little sheepish.
"Mom… can I ask you to help me scout out some maps?"
"At the very least, could you go to Jaya and Loguetown and mark those spots for me? That way, I can teleport there later."
One of the perks of the Time-Space Gate was that it let Genkei—and his bonded allies—instantly teleport to any place they'd been before.
But Genkei was still too weak to explore the world safely himself.
Which meant… he had to ask his mom.
He'd already given her so many errands. He felt a little guilty.
"Scout maps? What does that mean?"
Chiri blinked.
"Wait… I never explained this to you?"
Genkei scratched his head.
Chiri shook her head, exasperated.
"…My bad!"
He gave her a quick rundown of how the Time-Space Gate worked and how teleportation was unlocked.
Now it was Chiri's turn to be amazed.
"So… once we've visited a place, we can teleport there anytime?"
"And I can warp back to Sabaody Archipelago right now?"
"What about the ninja world? Does this work both ways?"
Genkei grinned and gave her a thumbs up.
"You nailed it. Yup—it works for both this world and our own."
That's the beauty of the teleport cheat.
"Then this is huge," Chiri's eyes lit up. "This makes everything so much more convenient—whether we're in the shinobi world or here."
"It could even be used as an escape method in battle—just like the Flying Thunder God technique."
"Actually… it might be even better."
No seals. No prep time. No chakra cost.
You just had to have visited the place once.
In combat, that could be a game changer.
"Uh… yeah. Pretty much," Genkei nodded, a little awed by how quickly his mom's brain worked.
"Then this is a high-priority mission. I'll handle it."
"Jaya and Loguetown, right? Leave them to me."
"I'll scout them over the next few days."
"But… out of curiosity, why those two spots?"
"Is there something there you're after?"
She'd agreed, of course.
But she was curious. Her son never acted without a reason.
