Sarah's meeting with Dr. Lee left her with more questions than answers. She couldn't shake off the feeling that something was terribly wrong with Emily. Dr. Lee had promised to do some more research and get back to her with more information.
As the days went by, Sarah couldn't help but notice that Emily's behavior was getting worse. She would cry for hours on end, and her eyes seemed to be taking on an otherworldly glow. Sarah was at her wit's end, feeling like she was losing her grip on reality.
One night, as she was feeding Emily, she saw something that made her blood run cold. Emily's eyes seemed to be black as coal, and her skin was deathly pale. Sarah felt a scream rising up in her throat, but she couldn't make a sound.
Suddenly, Emily's eyes snapped back to normal, and she began to giggle and coo like a normal baby. Sarah was left shaken, wondering if she had really seen what she thought she had.
Dr. Lee called her the next day, asking to meet with her again. Sarah agreed, feeling a sense of trepidation. What did Dr. Lee know?
When they met, Dr. Lee looked grave. "Sarah, I've done some more research, and I think I know what's going on with Emily," she said. "It's not good."
Sarah's heart was racing. "What is it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Dr. Lee hesitated before speaking. "I believe Emily is possessed by a malevolent entity. It's an ancient being that's been awakened somehow, and it's using Emily as a vessel."
Sarah felt like she'd been punched in the gut. "What do you mean?" she asked, her voice shaking.
Dr. Lee's expression was somber. "It means that Emily is no longer in control of her own body. The entity is driving her actions, and it's getting stronger by the day."
Sarah felt a wave of horror wash over her. She knew she had to protect Emily, but she didn't know how. "What can I do?" she asked, feeling desperate.
Dr. Lee's eyes locked onto hers. "We need to perform a ritual to cleanse Emily of the entity. It's the only way to save her."
Sarah nodded, feeling a sense of determination. She was ready to do whatever it took to save her baby. But as she looked at Dr. Lee, she couldn't shake off the feeling that it might already be too late.
