"Okay" he let out a breath.
"Fit in for the moment" he murmured to himself like it was a chant.
Stepping outside the room into the hallway he prepared to head towards the washroom and get himself cleaned up.

Meanwhile in the kitchen.
Luke sat on the table picking at his pancakes on his plate with a frown.
"Mom, please I really don't wanna go to school" Luke stated causing Claire to turn around and glare at Luke.
"You are going and that is final" She declared causing Luke to let out a deflated sigh.
"Also just what is going on with Liam, and Why Is Hailey not awake yet" Claire said to herself feeling a headache coming around.
"God, do I have to do everything myself around this house" She said as she flipped a pancake on the pan.
Turning her head to the dinner table her eyes landed on Alex
With her glasses on, already dressed and ready for school, one hand moving skillfully, cutting pieces of the pancake on her plate absentmindedly while the other flipped through pages of her textbook.
Claire sighed to herself when she saw Alex.
"Honey, could you please go wake your sister up" Claire requested Alex.
"I'm sorry mom, I really want to focus on getting more then Patel on this quiz today" Alex replied not lifting her eyes of her book.
"Honey it'll only take you a minute" Claire requested while looking at Alex, there was amoment of silence before Alex peeled her eyes away from her book and looked at Claire.
A sigh Escaped her mouth as she nodded, putting down her book and fork as she left the table and began moving towards the staircase.
As she reached the staircase Liam was just about to reach the bottom floor.
"Hey liam" Alex said acknowledging him casually before walking past him, up the stairs to wake Hailey up.
Lex looked at Alex as she headed up and felt like he was forgetting something, something Claire had asked him to do, he tried to think about it but nothing came to mind so he just ignored the feeling and walked into the hall.
Taking in the whole view of the house, the realization began to completely sink in, he was indeed currently in Modern Family as unbelievable as the concept still seemed.
The nagging feeling persisting, this may just be a "40 years later, the lamp looked weird" scenario, he thought to himself.
"Ah that's right, Liam did you wake Hailey up?" Claire asked causing Lex to freeze for a second and snap out of his thoughts.
So that's what I felt like I was forgetting, he realized.
Unfortunetly that was all Claire needed to see to know that Lex indeed did not wake Hailey up.
"Sit down and eat your breakfast" Claire pointed to the table as she scooped out a pancake of the pan and loaded it with the batter in preparations to make the next one.
"Alex is already on her way to wake Hailey"
Liam just quietly went ahead and sat on the table only to be glared at by Luke.
Liam felt a little awkward, he knew he hurt Luke, but can you really blame him?
He woke in a completely unfamiliar place with at the moment, a random kid jumping on him.
"I'm sorry luke" liam said with a rather restrained smile.
*humph*
Luke looked away from Liam, clearly still angry as he began to eat his pancakes.
Claire placed a plate infront of Liam.
"You better eat quickly we don't have all the time in the world" she said as she placed a fork besides the plate and walked back into the kitchen.
Liam glanced around for a second before he slowly began to eat the pancakes.
(Trust me Pancakes deserve all this screen time, they are a top 3 breakfast food)
At this moment Alex came back down the stair case.
"Mom she is awake, she should be down in a bit" Alex said causing Claire to sigh with relief.
"Thank you honey" Claire said with a smile, while Alex quickly sat back down not wishing waste another moment not preparing for the Quiz.
She had a goal, and the goal was to get the highest marks in the quiz and absolutely dominate her competition (Sanjay Patel)
Liam looked at all of this and felt like wisest thing he could possibly do right now was to figure out his current situation.

Some time soon passed and finally Claire arrived at the school to drop the kids off.
Stepping out of her minivan, Liam took it all in.
The massive school, that looked a little diffrent from the one in his memories but he really couldn't pin point exactly what the difference was.
Kids filling the campus as they existed there busses or were dropped off.
Small gatherings of kids as they talked and laughed with their friends.
"Alright kids have fun" claire shouted from the driver seat of the minivan, causing a groan to escape Haileys mouth.
"Mom do you have to be so embarrasing" she whispered with anger in her tone as she stormed off.
"Bye mom" Luke said as he adjusted his bag and ran away to a group of kids not to far away.
Alex also said her good bye's as she quickly walked away trying to reach her class as fast as possible.
"Bye mom" Liam said, confidently with a smile, as he shut the sliding door to the Van and began to move through the large school yard towards the entry of the school.
As he was walking towards the school, Liam caught sight of Hailey talking to her group of friends a little bit of a distance away.
It was nothing out off the ordinary so Lex was gonna ignore it and continue to get to his class but all of a sudden one of the females from the group caught his eyes.
She looked awfully similar to a character from another show he recognized.
It took a good while for him to understand why she looked so familiar.
And Suddenly it struck him.
Lydia Martin, the name flashed in his mind.
But Liam soon shook his head, there is no way, he thought.
Coincidence he said to himself as he kept walking away.
Deep inside his heart tho, he was suspicious, he did not remember her character ever appearing in Modern Family afterall.
