Chapter 3 - PROLOG #3

The place I now stood in was Mount Liyun—one of the many mountains scattered throughout Dangzhou County. However, unlike the others, this place served as the core territory granted by the system. In other words... Mount Liyun was now entirely mine.

This area was divided into three main buildings:

1. The Main Hall, which served as my personal residence.

2. The Xuanchuan Pavilion, a repository of knowledge and the world's history.

3. An empty building, its purpose still unknown.

The spacious courtyard featured a clear pond, a large ancient tree, and a plow-ready field seemingly waiting to be cultivated. All of this was enclosed by towering walls, protecting Mount Liyun from the outside world.

The World of Xiantian

This world consisted of three main continents:

1. Dongfeng Continent – the land of orthodox cultivators.

2. Qinfeng Continent – a domain of diverse sects and powerful factions.

3. Dangfeng Continent – a mysterious land only spoken of in legends.

My current location, Dangzhou County and Mount Liyun, was situated in the Qinfeng Continent.

Spiritual roots in this world were classified into three tiers:

1. Bronze – the most basic and common.

2. Silver – rare and promising for a strong future.

3. Gold – extremely rare, possessed only by a few chosen geniuses.

Cultivation realms were divided into six major stages, each consisting of ten layers:

1. Qi Refining

2. Foundation Establishment

3. Soul Convergence

4. Spiritual Palace

5. Purple Chaos

6. Transcendence

After absorbing all this knowledge over three days and three nights, a translucent screen appeared before me.

[Next Quest: Descend the mountain and help Aunt Long cross the road. If not, she will die and become a lingering ghost that haunts you.]

I froze in surprise. Not wanting to take any chances, I immediately made my way down the mountain.

It took me over two hours on foot to reach the edge of a city. The view that greeted me… was breathtaking. Like a fantasy cultivation novel come to life.

Towering classical buildings radiated strong spiritual energy. The streets bustled with young cultivators and long-bearded elders. In the sky, people flew on swords, rode floating artifacts, and even mounted massive spirit birds.

I looked up and muttered internally:

> "This... truly is another world. A real cultivation world."

Without delay, I began searching for Aunt Long. The system described her as an elderly woman with brown hair, wearing yellow and red clothes adorned with white patterns, and walking with the aid of a spear.

I wandered through the busy streets. At first, I thought people were staring at me because of my mysterious aura or natural handsomeness. But soon, I realized the real—and embarrassing—reason.

> "Ah… it's because I'm still wearing my office clothes..."

Eventually, I spotted a figure that matched the description—Aunt Long.

I quickly approached her. "Excuse me, are you Aunt Long?" I asked a bit awkwardly.

"Yes, dear. What can I do for you?" she replied gently.

"I was sent to help you cross the street. It seems this road is too busy with carriages and flying artifacts."

"Oh, thank you, dear. You're truly a kind young man. Here, take these three spirit stones as a token of my gratitude."

Aunt Long gave a sincere smile despite her wrinkled face. I helped her cross the street safely, shielding her from the rapid rush of spiritual vehicles.

After making sure she was safe, I turned back and hurried toward Mount Liyun. The constant stares from the townsfolk made me uneasy. Maybe it was time I truly blended in with this world.

Once I returned to the courtyard, another transparent screen popped up in front of me—this time containing a special reward from the system.

> [Congratulations! You have received: A beginner cultivator outfit – Qinfeng style.]

I opened the bundle to find a deep blue robe with silvery-white accents. Simple, yet elegant.

> "Looks like this system is pretty considerate," I muttered with a satisfied smile.
