Three figures sat in an enormous room.
The room gleamed, its walls painted in gold that reflected light into their eyes, making it difficult to see clearly.
It was impeccably clean, clearly well-maintained.
On the couch sat a girl with white hair and mismatched eyes.
Words refused to leave her mouth—this room was so gaudy and ridiculous that she found herself speechless.
'They're at war. People can't even find food to eat, and this girl is wasting money on frivolous things like this? She's clearly not someone fit to lead.'
Suddenly, the door flung open, pulling Alice out of her thoughts as she turned to see who had entered the room.
A girl with light blue hair and silver eyes walked in with an exaggerated, pompous gait, her head held high.
She wore a long red dress adorned with so many ornaments it was almost blinding.
Both her hands were covered in bangles and rings—too many to count.
