She pulled her hand back and examined it—nothing had changed. She turned to Kaito and asked:
"Kaito, what exactly does this power do?"
Kaito smiled faintly. He raised a palm and slowly moved it through the air toward Kalifa and Ain.
For some reason, watching him do that made both women feel uncomfortable. Ain couldn't help but ask again:
"Kaito, what are you doing? This is giving me a really weird feeling."
Kalifa also nodded, looking puzzled.
Kaito shrugged and said:
"Didn't you just ask what the Ope-Ope Fruit could do? I just used its body-scanning ability. Based on my diagnosis, you're both in perfect health—nothing to worry about."
Hearing that, both Kalifa and Ain blushed. Kalifa even opened her mouth to protest:
"Boss, you—"
"Stop right there!"
Kaito quickly held up a hand to cut her off.
He swore to the heavens—what he just did was no different from getting an X-ray at a hospital. Completely proper and clinical.
