A girl with short black hair runs through the forest, together with a girl with brown hair and two bright white strands. That girl has short hair just above her neck. They look anxiously after each other, knowing that this could be the last time they run through the forest together. The first girl calls herself Miss H. The second girl Miss C. Daniel simply calls herself Daniel. He doesn't feel like nonsense and mysterious stuff. He has too blond hair, dark eyes and everywhere you look you see freckles. The world consists of dimensions and every forest is the border to a new one. They have often heard about children with powers, different dimensions and monsters. That only made them more and more curious. They often talk about Theo. Theo seems to be the funny hero who died before he came. The funny hero?! Wasn't Daniel funny enough?! His bright shirts with prints and dark curls did not help with the thoughts. Especially not all stories. When they have found a small house, they rush in. Miss H looks anxiously at the black glow and the claws sliding over the window. Miss C just look at her phone. Daniel listens carefully to the footsteps that come very close at once and then slowly disappear. That was just in time! Just in time to take away that terrible fear. Daniel now looks around. He wants to take a good look at the house now that it's time for it. The house is old and many pieces of wood are already rotten. Dusty windows with spider webs everywhere. The furniture is old and made of dark wood. The rug is covered in fabric and there is a door to a dirty and moldy toilet. This was dirty. Very dirty! Miss H opens a kitchen cupboard and sees rotten fish. "I don't need that." Whines Miss C. "You don't get it either." Grumbles Miss H. The two are wearing exactly the same clothes. A shirt with a skirt that was just a little too short underneath. Only then do they moor the large bookcase. There are all kinds of dirty books in it. Half broken under the stains. Miss C reads: "Woods school year book." She opens the book and sees all kinds of photos of students from the future. "Jenny Houston." Reads Miss C. Then Miss H looks back angrily: "I think I was watching." "Sorry." Mumbles Miss C. "Am I just getting a sorry?!" Sighs Miss H. "What more do you want?!" Grumbles Miss C. The group starts rummaging through the drawers and cupboards, but nothing with which you can time travel. "The children with powers can help us! They make sure that we can do this!" Miss C sounds very enthusiastic and Daniel nods. Hopefully it should work then! The atmosphere in the dilapidated house becomes more and more oppressive out of nowhere. It is as if the house was no longer part of the world, the house itself was watching them. Miss H moves restlessly through the room, her eyes constantly fixed on the windows, where the black glow could still be seen. "Maybe we really should get out of here," she said, her voice slightly shaky. "What, and give up the whole adventure?" Daniel shook his head. "We're not going to do that. We have to keep going. We are here for a reason." "And that reason is?" asked Miss C without taking her eyes off her phone. She seemed more and more irritated, but her eyes slid to the old books on the bookshelf. Daniel walked to the window and looked through the cobwebs at the dark woods outside. "The reason is that we have to find something to pull back time. Now we have another chance." Miss H went to the cupboard and began to inspect the books curiously. Her fingers slid over the covers, looking for something that could help them further. "If we can really travel through time," she began, her voice slowly hesitating, "then what? What are we going to do then?" "You're right," Daniel said as he turned to her. Daniel sighs deeply and looks at the bookcase: "Then he sees a time travel book. He picks up the book and reads the same letters a few times. The book is dark brown with a bronze stripe through the book. The book is too old and too dusty so you can't see what's on it. There are all kinds of pictures in the books about different time travel places. "I didn't know there were time travel places." Miss C picks at her lip. "Didn't you know that?" Miss H looks confused at Miss C. Daniel grins at Miss H: "Miss C is stupid." "I'm not stupid!" Miss C's screams fill the house. "We need the time travel book to travel through time." Says Daniel: "But what if we can also use the school book. These people like Jordi Jasons have never had anything to do with those monsters. What if we let them fight those monsters. When I look at the book of the future, Jordi Jasons did not survive the forest. What if he does survive. He is strong and smart. He didn't get to the kids with the superpowers in time. She stands on the stool and takes the card on top of the cupboard. She rolls it out on the ground. It is a time travel map. You will see different colored stripes on the card with different letters. Those letters form a tunnel to a certain time and to a certain earth. "Are those metro lines?" Asks Miss C. Daniel and Miss C look at each other and roll their eyes. The fact that she knows nothing is deeply disappointing. "These are time travel tunnels." Says Miss H irritated. "Do they exist?" Asks Miss C. "Of course they exist!" Daniel snaps: "Then we also have the time stopwatch." "oh! You're a genius!" Adds Miss H: "That's a faster time travel way. If we find such a time stopwatch and set it correctly, we only have to press the right button when the stopwatch is right!" Miss C looks at the card: "And what if we don't press the buttons at the right time?" "Then we are in a different place at that time." Daniel adds. "Sounds exciting." Grins Miss H. "That's not it." Grumble Daniel they shouldn't ruin this. "If we pack our things, then we go to the time stopwatch?" Miss H is already packing a strange compass. "What is that?" Asks Miss C. They look at each other and there is an anxious long silence. Miss H bends around and tries to look outside. Miss C sneaks to the door. She opens the door carefully and looks at the tree stump that has fallen on their house. Dirty black slimy drop falls off the tree. "That's Meninken's blood." Whispers Miss H to Miss C. "I already knew that." Miss C is shaking all over her body. That's how fast terrible monsters can catch you. That's how fast it can be ends plan. There is silence again. Then Daniel shouts enthusiastically: "Are we still going? Or do we stay here until we die?" "We're going." Says Miss H with a doubtful voice. Then Miss C gets a nasty image for her. The image of Miss C being torn to pieces by such a horrible monster is too bad. She is very shaky inside and the vibration makes her no longer herself. "Are we going back?" Asks Miss C. "Of course we're not going back." Says Miss H. "I mean it seriously, I want to go back." Says Miss C with another tremor in her voice. Daniel shakes his head back: "Then you walk back nicely." Daniel answers with a chuckle: "I thought of the thoughts that I now completely understand why you came up with such names." Harper gives Daniel a pat on the back: "Precsies that's what I meant. Finally someone who gets it?" "Do you know more people than just me?" Daniel asks. Harper takes two big steps forward: "Much more than you would ever think." Then Daniel pushes some moss aside. Look here, he grins. There is a crumpled note on the floor. Daniel looks closely at it but does not know whether it is letters or a drawing. It has been wet so the marker is no longer visible. Harper is already skipping on and all at once the Compass starts to glow. So here it is. Chloe runs through the forest. Where is the cottage? Where is the Cottage? Then she stops running. She looks around and sees a boy with brown curls appear. A few freckles on his nose. A white sweater and white sweatpants. They are covered in moss. Chloe also notices that he is standing barefoot. The boy tilts his head a little and all at once a large circle appears around him. Hundreds of his faces look at Chloe. Chloe still feels quite uncomfortable. One of the clones comes to Chloe and stands very close to her. Then he whispers: "Don't time rise. That would turn me into a wood creature." Chloe nods and tears roll down her cheeks. She looks back and sees the boy rolling up his meow. A four in decorative letters. So he has superpowers. "Wait, help me!" Chloe runs to the boy who walks away. She sees the clones disappearing one by one. That was her last cry for help. Her very last? At least the last in this world. Harper walks on and sees time lost and more glowing. Then she stops and carefully takes a step back. "Here it is Daniel!" Harper is enthusiastic! This was her plan and it worked! "Is this some kind of code language?" Daniel takes the time lost from Harper. "No, just jump." Harper giggles. Daniel jumps and they fall through the ground on a huge time trip stopwatch. They see them go the hands. The stopwatch is gold and so are the flat walls around it. Next to the stopwatch is a computer. Harper enters the data and all at once the huge stopwatch starts to shrink unbelievably. Harper quickly presses the button when the time travel stopwatch finishes crimping. She soon disappears and a kind of golden confetti comes in its place. Daniel does not press. He looks at the hands a few times. They go quite fast so he has to make a good estimate when the right time is there. Then Daniel knows! He waits a few more minutes just to be sure. The space is getting smaller and smaller and then Daniel has to press. Then he sees a golden statue before his eyes. Then he is in a bus full of children. "What are you doing here?" A woman's voice sounds. Then Daniel looks back. There Jordi is. Yelling at a boy behind him. The bus makes an annoying noise out of nowhere. The bus stops and the bus driver gets out. The #1 woods bus. Idiotic name Daniel, but he always thought so. He looks at the clock above him. He has been looking at flowers for half an hour. Is he perhaps a monster? He is a scary man so that would not surprise him. Is he trying to distract them? Is he trying to call the monsters? There is a tension in his body. A terrible shiver! Then he can probably carry out the evil plan! A little later Jordi stops screaming and also sees that they are standing still. "What is he doing?" He says confused. Jordi has fluffy black hair and a black Cole bleus with gold buttons. Underneath he is wearing neat black pants like the rest in the horrible long bus. Daniel looks very closely at Jordi and then at the girl next to him. She is reading the safety rules. The safety rules is a booklet of 4 format. It is full of text and boxes with crosses and ticks through them. "Sit next to the boy behind me." She snaps. Daniel sits down next to Jordi. How lucky he is that this comes true! "Jordi." Jordi mumbles and looks away. "Daniel." He smiles. He wants to make a good impression with Jordi because he should save the world in the future. "Cato." Says the girl with the safety rules. "Catotje?" Daniel hopes he heard it right! "Cato!" She screams angrily throughout the bus. Not a good impression, Daniel thinks. Oh well, he doesn't need a good impression to win against these rotten monsters. "Dare to say my name wrong again!" She turns her head angrily to Daniel. "She's good at whining." Splutter Jordi. Daniel feels his chin and notices that his hairs have disappeared under his chin. He has moved fourteen years further into the future. "Then that was a special house. The textbooks of the future. That text keeps going through Daniel's head. The bus driver gets back on the bus in a good mood. He walks around the bus with his meows rolled up. He looks scary and serious with his arms behind his back. What a creepy feeling! He walks back and then Daniel sees it! A 1 in decorative letters. Tattooed on his wrist. This is a good sign! An answer... A perfect sign! He is one of the children with a superpower. That means there are other kids with superpowers around. Or rather their headquarters. Daniel feels his victory. He will succeed. "He has superpowers." Jordi looks at him with a broad grin. "Do you know about it too?" Daniel looks at Jordi with a broad grin. "Not everything." Says Jordi: "But before this bus stops I'll tell you more about it." The bus continues to drive. "I'm looking for a girl with super powers." Says Jordi. "I'm looking for much more than people with superpowers." Answer Daniel: "I'm looking for the win!" Daniel doesn't want to be too open about the monsters, but he knows that the children are trying to get to the other side from the woods. "Is there a price?" Cato turns around enthusiastically.
