Chapter 2 - Sister Elisa

He followed the arrow all the way out of the academy. Wandering through bustling streets Damien couldn't help but admire the prosperity.

The Hero Academy as the pre-eminent school to train mages in the kingdom was situated in the heart of the Dawn Empire, in the capital city of Artem. Here the streets were full of laughter and the people were joyous. Compared to certain more remote regions of the kingdom, which were constantly facing threats of demonic invasions, the capital was safe.

The last time it was breached was over a hundred years ago.

Damien had changed out of his school uniform so no one paid much attention to the dark haired boy. Otherwise, considering the status of the Hero Academy he would not be able to do anything secretly.

Following the giant red arrow, he wandered through the long roads. As he walked he noticed that the surroundings became shabbier and shabbier. He was headed toward the outer city. Like all places, Artem also had its own class division.

Most of the wealthy and powerful families lived in the inner city near the holy palace and the academy, where they were most safe, while the poorer folks lived in the outer regions closest to the city walls.

Of course, while it could be considered shabby to a student of the academy, the outer city was still much better than most places in the kingdom.

Damien followed the arrow all the way until he arrived at a large stone building, it looked a little run down but that wasn't the main point.

"...Is this a church?"

Could the system be malfunctioning? It wanted him to summon a demon at a church?

After Damien confirmed once again that the red arrow was pointing inside the church, he was about to go walk in when a gentle voice came from behind him.

"Hello patron, have you also been guided by Lady Evernight?"

Damien was slightly startled and turned back

What came into view was a beautiful woman in a white nun's uniform. Even the loose robes couldn't hide her exaggerated figure. Her blond hair was hidden under the nun's hat but a few strands framed her stunning face, and her led lips were plump and inviting as she spoke.

"Who are you?"

Damien was dazed. Such a beautiful woman is a nun?

"My name is Elisa, a sister at the Church of Evernight. Please, please come in."

Sister Elisa quickly took James' hands and enthusiastically brought him inside before he could say anything more.

The inside of the church was the same as the outside. The pews were abandoned and many of the marble sculptures had cracks on them, and the paintings on the wall were so faded you could hardly make out what they were depicting.

The beautiful woman seated Damien at a pew and began enthusiastically talking about the Goddess Evernight that had been worshiped here for hundreds of years.

Actually Damien was quite curious, how could the Dawn Empire allow the worship of a pagan god?

That's right, he had never heard of this Goddess Evernight.

In fact, without the help of the red arrow, he would have never even realised that there was a church in the outer regions of the city.

The holy religion of the kingdom has always been the Church of the Everlasting Sun. He had even been to one of their churches in his memories, it was nothing like this shabby place.

At this time the red arrow had disappeared, so James was certain this was the place the system had assigned.

Well, although a church is a weird place, James had to admit the location was quite remote. And who would suspect that a succubus was hiding in a holy land?

"Uh Sister Elisa, can I take a look around. I'm a little curious about this place."

Damien wanted to see if they had some hidden rooms or something. Usually these old buildings always had secret underground places to hide incase of a demon invasion.

"Oh?"

The beautiful woman had a strange look on her face when she heard what he said.

"Of course, follow me, patron."

Elisa took Damien past the pulpit and into the inner chambers. He didn't really have much time to look around however, as Elisa seemed to be guiding him somewhere.

She finally stopped in front of a large iron door. Damien looked in and saw that it had stairs leading down.

There really are underground chambers here? But why is she taking him there?

Damien was feeling hesitant at the sudden turn of events but he still followed the beautiful nun downstairs. When he arrived at the underground level he found that it was full of bookshelves, seemingly filled with holy texts and prayer scriptures.

But they didn't stay there long as Sister Elisa led him to another room which was completely bare except for a large white bed.

Wait, an abandoned church, a poor and beautiful nun, could it be?

Damien's face couldn't help but become strange. Elisa's next words seem to confirm his suspicions.

"All though I am curious where the patron heard about it…"

"...The Holy Scripture Massage costs 10 copper coins, but since the patron is a first time customer we provide a 50% special deal!"

Oh? That's quite conscientious…

Wait?!

That's not right he wasn't here for a 'massage'!

James wanted to explain that he wasn't here for that kind of service, but then he changed his mind. What if this was all just a misunderstanding?

No, first he would have to wait and see for himself!

So Damien nodded obediently at Elisa who had a smile on her face, and then sat down on bed with his arms on his knees.

"Then please lie down." Elisa smiled and gently shook the silver bell in her hand, making crisp and pleasant sounds.

"This is?"

"The bell of the Goddess Evernight, it can make you feel peaceful."

"Oh…"

Following Elisa's instructions, Damien lay down on his back and rested his hands on either side. He was a little nervous. This was his first time doing something like this.

Looking at the beautiful women bending down towards him, and her twin peaks that were being squished between the white robes, he whispered:

"Be gentle…"
