I could hear the mocking voice of the spell as if to tease me whisper those words in to my ear, you think voices will stop me dream on I

will show you that you made a mistake by giving me this Flaw should have been

something worst.

[ Wake up, Singularity.]

The black void spun around me and disappeared. as my eyes closed.

-----------------------------------------------------

I slowly opened my eyes looking around me I felt my self being strapped on a bed, so the first nightmare is over eh I thought to myself as I tried to look around the room until I heard a voice.

"Finally awake" she said a woman I knew all to well from the story short raven black hair icy blue eyes pale skin as white as snow.

"Where Am I and how long have I been gone for?" I Asked Curiosly? as I felt countless voices whisper in to my ears.

"You are in a police station someone found you lying outside and brought you in for security reasons" she responded calmly as if it wasnt something surprising to find someone in the middle of the street

" I am Ascenden Jet, You can call me Master Jet as for how long you have been here its been a week this past week I have been on watch duty due to your nightmare and some other kid who already finished his a few days ago." she said lightly.

"Thank you, you probably have read my file if I even have one but anyways My name is Arthur nice to meet you master Jet" I said lightly with a smile ' so sunless has finished his nightmare a few days ago' I thought to my self.

We continued talking for a bit more as she used the same lines on me as with sunny that I reek of Nightmare so she sended me off to clean my self.

The cold water hammered down on Arthur's skin, washing away the grime and sweat of the day, but doing nothing to cleanse the weight he carried. Steam clung to the cracked tiles of the police station's worn-down shower room, though the water was anything but warm. Each drop felt like a jolt—grounding, punishing, real.

He stood still beneath the stream, hands braced against the wall, head bowed. The fluorescent lights above flickered faintly, casting a pale glow that made the atmosphere relaxing but quite only the sound of water dripping down the drain.

After a long moment, he finally looked up.

The mirror across the room was clouded with mist, but his reflection stared back—faint at first, then clearer as the condensation slipped away. Dirty blonde hair clung wetly to his forehead, plastered down in uneven strands. But it was his eyes that stood out most: deep, unnaturally crimson, like blood beneath glass. They didn't just glow—they watched, as if something behind them was still waking up.

For a second, he didn't recognize himself.

Then came the whisper—soft, curling at the edge of his mind.

"You're still wearing a mask. You weren't supposed to be here,"

"Die die Die"

"Slaughter everyone "

"Kill Kill Kill."

A few minutes after this he was heading towards the cafeteria wearing a police issued tracksuit and Master Jet was waiting with a tray of food infront of her.

Arthur made his way towards her as he sat down not giving much of a thought to the food eating real and edible foods back on earth couldnt compare to this cheap gruel.

So They stayed there in silence looking at eachother until master jet decided to break the silence

"Then I'll begin. As per protocol, I am obligated to inform you of a few things. It is mostly a formality.

First of all, concerning your Nightmare..."

She glanced at him and sighed.

"You are entitled to receive free psychological counseling. No matter what traumatic experience you have encountered, there is no shame in asking for help. Your mind is as important as your body — it's only right to keep it healthy. Are you interested?"

Arthur shook his head he wasn't an idiot that would share his abilities and flaws with the governament.

Jet shrugged and continued:

"That's basically it. There are some additional hoops to jump through, mostly having to do with your family, but... well. I've read your file, so I know it doesn't apply. The only thing left is to decide how you will be preparing for your first journey into the Dream Realm."

She looked at her communicator and grimaced.

"I must stay, your luck is exceptionally bad. There's not a lot of time at all. First of all: you are free to do what you want. No one is forcing you to make a certain decision. That is to say, you can choose to prepare on your own, or not prepare at all. Party until the lights go out."

"However, I would advise against that. As a Sleeper, you are also entitled to enroll in the Awakened Academy. You'll be provided with food, lodging and a wide choice of preparatory classes.

This late into the year, you won't be able to learn a lot. But it's better than nothing."

She was silent for a few seconds, then added:

"More importantly, you will get acquainted with most of the people who will enter the Dream Realm with you. Some of them might become your companions for life."

And some may just as well try to end my life for being something they can't understand I thought to myself.

"Sure take take me to the academy"
