Robert drove down the Box street in Wyrdwood city. The song playing in his car was from the 80s funk classic and he simply bumped his head to the beat.
He slowed his car down as he noticed a young woman walking across the walk way. He smiled to himself seeing how neat and confidently she moved.
Robert pulled over at her front and lowered the tinted window down, so she could see him.
"Hey beautiful. I figured you are heading my way. Why don't I give you a lift." He asked with a smirk on his face.
"I don't accept offers from strangers sorry." She replied and begin to walk further.
"Your boyfriend should thank the Lord everyday for having such beautiful girl like yourself." Robert replied as he also moved his car along.
"He loves me." She replied.
"I know he does." Robert replied and proceed to stop the car at a parking space on the left side of the road.
He stepped out of the car and comes to stand by the door, waiting for her.
"Can I have your number?" Robert asked.
The woman rolled her eyes and she begins taking steps forward to meet him. Their eyes met for a moment and then Robert leaned in for a kiss.
"Whose car is this?" She asked after the kiss.
"Remember the money I told you I was saving? Well I figured now will be the time to use it to get a car. So here we are..." He replied.
"And you decide to run it back with the flirting?" She asked with a smile on her face.
"Kisha, we both know that is how I got you to be my girlfriend. A man must try his moves to see if he still got it." He said with a wink.
Kisha playfully punched his chest and walked over to the other side of the car. She pulled the door open and sit at the front.
Robert also stepped inside the car but before he turned on the ignition, he remembered something.
"Are you going to be free at eight?" He asked and Kisha nods her head, while pulling down her long brown hair and combing it.
"Then we should go out for a date. I have a surprise for you."
That caught Kisha's attention and she dropped the comb.
"What is it?" She asked with excitement.
"Don't worry, you will get to know later." He replied and turned the ignition of the car after which they took off.

Robert stood at the door staring at his watch. He rolled his eyes when he noticed the time was far gone and Kisha wasn't out of her room yet.
"Babe, hurry up we will be late." He said out loud.
"Will be out in a minute!" She yelled from inside.
Robert decide to check himself out through his tinted car windows. His tuxedo was on point and he had made sure to wear a very perfect cologne.
He reached out to his pocket and picked out the box of ring in his hand. His heart was pounding when he realized that he will be going to make the bold move today.
Robert made several rehearsal ahead of his proposal to Kisha. He couldn't tell what was going to be her reaction, but he was certain the time was due to propose.
"How do I look?"
Robert quickly pushed the ring box inside his pocket and turned around to meet Kisha, who turned around in circles and a smile graced her face.
"This dress fits you perfectly." He said and Kisha walked down to meet him. They locked eyes with each other staring in admiration.
"I bless the day I met you sweetheart." He said and planted a kiss on her lips before proceeding to open the door for her.
Without a doubt, Kisha knew that she had landed herself a man with a heart of gold. Many of her colleagues always told her to find herself another man because Robert wasn't up to her class, but she stuck with her decision and never regret it.
"You never told me the reason for this planned date." Kisha said to him after he stepped into the car.
"Uhmm, you are going to find out." He smiled mischievously causing Kisha to squint her eyes, while staring at him mischievously.
After long hours of driving on the road due to a surprise traffic, they finally arrived at their restaurant and settled at the Vip session.
Soft music played at the background as the waiter approached them and took their orders before leaving.
"I was surprised when you told me about the car. But I am happy you are making a smart decision." She said.
"Thanks." Robert replied, placing his hand on his head and staring at the door.
He was anxiously waiting for the waiter to proceed with their plan. He had secretly handed the ring over to him without Kisha knowing.
Moments later he arrived and Robert is served first.
He watched as the waiter moved over to Kisha's side and gently dropped her food on the table.
Kisha received her meal and was ready to dig in, when her fork pressed something inside the food. She picked it out and her eyes widened the moment she saw the ring.
She watched Robert go down his knees with a smile on his face.
"I have waited long and hard enough for this day darling. Will you marry me."
Kisha was emotional with tears dropping down her eyes. She cleaned it up and nod her head in excitement.
"Yes! I will marry you." She replied.
Robert got up to his feet and embraced her in a warm hug, while other people cheered and applauded.
"So that was the surprise." She said in his ears.
"It is long over due." Robert replied and let go of her. "I should have done it a long time ago darling, but we are here now."
Kisha bites her lips and leaned into his ears to speak.
"I have my own surprise waiting at home. Let's get finished from here and go." She said.
