Auxiliary Chapter: Project Hero Name

[Location: Somewhere in China, Late September 2007]

"So… what now?" I asked myself, pacing inside the training hall. My body felt brand new—refined, sharpened, and utterly lethal. Xu Wenwu really did break me apart and rebuild me like some ancient Chinese Tony Stark. But unlike Stark, I didn't have a suit of armor… yet.

But the real question was—what kind of hero do I want to be?

And more importantly…

What should I be called?

I sat cross-legged in front of a mirror, scribbling names in a journal. This was a moment of identity. Every major Marvel or DC character had a name that carried weight. Legacy. Symbolism. Marketability.

I needed something iconic.

Something that says:

> "I'm the guy who'll break your bones in 73 different ways while quoting Confucius."

So here are the candidates, ladies and gentlemen of the Multiversal Council (yes, you the reader):

---

1. Batman

Because… well, duh. It's Batman.

The man, the myth, the billionaire ninja detective.

I've got the tech-building capabilities of Forge and the hyper-mental-processing of Sage. Give me a few years and I might actually become a better Batman than Bruce.

Only problem?

Copyright.

But also... I really like Batman.

Potential Costume Concept:

Black kevlar-like armor with subtle dark blue accents, retractable glider wings, built-in neuro-hud, and a mask that covers the entire face.

Cloaked in shadows. Literally.

"Fear is a tool. And I downloaded the manual."

---

2. Nexus

Original character… do not steal.

Okay fine, it's Batman with rebranding. But still—cool name, right?

Batcave becomes Nexcave.

Batmobile becomes Nexmobile.

Maybe I get a Nexcycle too?

It's got that futuristic, mysterious ring to it.

And hey—if someone asks if I'm a knock-off Batman, I'll just say, "I'm the open-source version."

Potential Costume Concept:

Sleek obsidian armor with glowing blue lines (Arc Reactor style), a utility belt with adaptive modules, minimalist chest symbol resembling an eclipse or portal.

Cape optional, but you know I'm gonna wear one.

---

3. Night Wing

Not Nightwing.

Night Wing.

Legally distinct from Dick Grayson.

It screams vigilante.

It screams Batman vibes.

And it screams I'm not afraid to break your ribs while looking damn cool doing it.

Also, there's just something poetic about wings in the night sky.

Freedom. Rebellion. Precision. Elegance.

Potential Costume Concept:

Feather-like nano-weave armor, jet-black with a glowing silver V-shape across the chest.

No cape—just gliders hidden in the sleeves.

Mask is sleek and contoured—somewhere between ninja and assassin.

---

Conclusion? I need your vote.

So, dear readers, watchers, and Multiversal beings peeking into my fourth wall:

What should my hero name be?

Reply below and let your voice be heard.

[1] Batman (Because I'll actually make it work, and no one can sue me in this universe.)

[2] Nexus (Cool, modern, customizable, and a nod to my OP potential.)

[3] Night Wing (Dark, edgy, and born to fly under moonlight.)

Vote now. Your choice may just shape the symbol that the world fears... or worships.
