Jude and friends stood straight as the King looked at them. The King cleared his throat before speaking"first of all,I want to deeply congratulate you on your win,it's good to know that our younglings are still waxing strong."
"I believe I speak on behalf of the courtroom, when I say,we are proud to see the younger generation still striving strong in the mastering of their abilities"The King smiled warmly at them.
They nodded avoiding the stares the nobles gave them.
The King looked at the high priest signalling him to take over,the high priest stepped forward and began speaking.
"Some time ago,I received a message from guardian god Mila, apparently there are seven gods who died and their various souls have been attached to you, although the last god was attached to a dark fae.
Long ago Alaster,god of gravitational control fell in love with a human Kiera,she married and Alaster killed her husband after she had her first child, luckily,Ezra god of Time magic went back in time and brought the husband back.
All the gods were enraged at Alaster,the Fates stripped him of his title as a supreme god and erased his memories from humanity,he was furious of course and dabbled in forbidden magic offering his heart to Demos,god of forbidden magic, allowing him to harness blood magic and open the door for the creatures of hell.
There was a war in this kingdom,the seven gods,Rena, Fiera, Rielle,Rhea, Kyrios,Ezra and Mila sacrificed themselves to defeat him,the Fates attached their souls to you, forbidden magic also attached Alaster's soul too.
There is a place with all the bodies of the gods somewhere in this kingdom,if you place the gems in there, they will get their bodies back but the place can only open if it senses the magic presence of at least four gems,we believe Alaster wants to open the door for the creatures of hell,to do that,he needs five magic gems.
He already has his own,once you have a magic gem, you can locate the others,we believe he has already started going for the closest gem, that's Rielle's gem.
We need to stop him from opening the door,so I was given instructions from Mila,she predicted that the five of you were going to win the tournament and demanded that five of you will go after those gems."The high priest explained everything detailedly as the younglings listened carefully.
Jude finally understood what Mila had meant when she said the kingdom was in danger.
The high priest spoke"I know you all are wondering if that was the purpose of the tournament,no it was not,Mila realized that the only way the royals and the courtroom would trust you completely was if they would see it for themselves,and you have completely proven that you are completely capable"
The high priest continued"I believe Ezra and Mila are in you"he pointed to Jude who still kept a straight face"Rielle,Rena,Fiera and Ryxs are in you"he pointed at Ciara, Aviva,Evette and Kyle respectively, Kyle and Evette looked surprised but Aviva and Ciara looked calm.
Aviva finally realized why Rena had visited and encouraged her.
"How do we go after the gems,when we don't have one"Jude asked.
The high priest walked towards him,he placed his hand on the ring and necklace Jude was wearing, chanting something.
A bright white light filled the room and the ring and necklace glowed, Jude stared at them before his eyes glowed a pitch black color then a bright white color before returning back to their original color.
"I'm sure you can feel it now"the high priest looked at him,he nodded as he felt a tugging presence which he assumed was the gem,they were faint ones too meaning they were far away.
The high priest looked at his friends again,his eyes landed on Aviva,who looked away when she felt his piercing gaze.He walked towards her,he placed a finger on her forehead and another on her forearm,he muttered something.
Once he said the last word,Aviva felt sparks spread from that mark rush throughout her body feeling her with a strange but refreshing energy,the sky darkened,a bright light flashed across the room,when the light cleared,Aviva fell on her knees.
"You're a weather witch,one of the rarest witches there is,I've removed the seal that was placed on you"the high priest spoke in awe,her friends looked at her in surprise and the nobles eyed her warily.
"Thank you"she whispered quietly but the high priest heard and nodded returning back beside the King,the King looked at them.
"You'll be leaving the day after tomorrow,we hope that one day is enough for your preparations"he looked at them and they nodded.
"Also"he spoke again "this is for the nobles too,this ends in the courtroom,we cannot place the people of this kingdom on alert,am I clear"the nobles straightened up and nodded.
The King looked at them,then looked at Jude and his friends,he smiled"Good luck children,I wish you the best,here is a token of my appreciation,I hope it serves of benefit to you"he said as the guards brought out three medium sized bags of gold as well as five storage rings dropping it before them.
They thanked him and left.
"Now that that's over,we need to go to a place to chill"Kyle looked at them and they nodded.
Aviva was about to nod when she caught sight of her father,he was looking straight at her,a disdainful smile on his face.
"I'm sorry"she said catching the attention of her friends "I won't be able to come,I'm sorry"She left immediately.
She started walking home when she felt a hand on her arm,she spun around to see her father,he was scowling at her.
"Let me go"she snapped tugging her arm out of his grip but he pushed her against the wall,his hand around her neck, choking her"that's no way to talk to your father"
She glared at him"you're not my father"he tightened his hand around her neck,she struggled to breathe,she hated feeling weak.
"You're still the same bitch I knew,just like your mo..."
She kicked him on his knee hard"Don't talk about my mother like that"he groaned in pain as he released her using his hand to hold his knee,he glared at her but she ran away.

"Another one"Aviva pushed the glass to the bartender as he refilled it.
She took it and downed the content at a go. The bartender watched in surprise as she drank her tenth glass.
"What's a pretty girl like you during her"a blue eyed blonde male sat beside her,he eyes roamed her body, desire in his eyes.
"I'll pay your next glass"he winked at the bartender,who got the message"I'm Teo by the way"he winked at her.
The bartender placed the glass in front of her,she raised her hand to hold the glass but a hand carried the glass before she could touch it.
She breath hitched as she recognized the person,he was who she had bumped into yesterday.
She didn't know if it was the alcohol but he looked like a god."Hey hottie, someone paid that glass for me"her words were slurred.
He didn't respond but turned the content on the floor,"let's go"she looked at him,the alcohol had gotten to her.
"Dude,she was with..."He glared at Teo,who backed down as he saw the glare that was sent to him.
He didn't know why he had come to save her, maybe it was the fact that she amused him,or maybe it was the lifeless look her blue eyes held but he knew his conscience wouldn't allow him sit and watch as they were about to drug her.
He held her wrist and dragged her out of the bar.
"Aww my drink"she spoke once they were outside,the cool wind blowing past them.
He was about to ask her a question before she bent over a nearby bush, throwing up everything she had drunk.
He looked at her before walking beside her, holding the strands that fell on her face backwards.
When she was done,she stood straight"thanks"she said a accepting the glass of water he gave her as she rinsed her mouth.
He nodded and motioned her into a black car, when they had settled,he nodded at the driver to start driving.
"Where do you live?"he didn't get a response so he looked at her,she was sleeping soundly.
He sighed internally and placed his palm on her head,his eyes glowed.

The driver pulled up in front of a simple house, getting out,he opened the door for his master.
"Young master, should I carry her in"
"No"the young master shook his head as he carried her bridal style,he reached the locked door,he looked at the door,his eyes glowed before the door unlocked opened.
He carried her in to her room,he placed her on her bed and was about to leave but she held his hand"please stay, don't leave"he knew it was the alcohol speaking but he still stayed.
Sitting on the chair beside the window,he looked at her one last time before he slept.

Aviva woke up the next day,she raised her head but placed it back down as the migraine hit her hard,reminding her why she didn't drink often.
She groaned as she touched her head,she looked beside her bed, seeing the jug and empty glass cup beside it,she touched the jug realizing that it was still hot.
"He left this morning"she smiled then froze,her face red, when she remembered she had asked him to stay.
She poured the tea in the glass and drank it, soothing her nerves.

"Thank you"she asked the wind to carry it to him before laying back in bed.

A small smile made its way up Azron's lips as the wind carried Aviva's voice to his ears.
He ran his hand through his hair, pushing the hair that fell over his eyes aside before they fell back as he looked outside the window as the trees passed by in a blur,he was going back home.

Ciara zipped the bag shut and placed it inside her storage rings,she stood up and left her room.
She was alone in the house,Evette had gone to tell her family the news,she sat down leaning her back against the wall,she closed her eyes, remembering her family.
Her siblings were in another part of the kingdom and it would not take less than a week to go there,she didn't have that time,she just decided to tell them everything over the phone.
She stood up and walked towards the training room,she tied her hair in a ponytail, removed her jacket and began practicing her ability.

Jude looked at his bags on the floor,he was done packing as Freya helped him pack.
He put them in his storage ring,Freya left and he sat on the bed facing the window, tomorrow,he would be leaving on a mission,his eyes brushed the star shaped mark behind his ear,in this kingdom,twins had identical marks at the same place on their bodies.
He knew he was a twin,that was the closest thing he knew about his birth,he looked up,the sky had began to darken.
He walked towards the window,he stared at the stars scattered in the sky as they twinkled,he uttered a silent prayer before going back to bed.
