!!Every Sunday release 1 chapter!! In a world parallel to Earth, humanity was forced to evolve when monstrous Rifts tore open reality. Those blessed by the God Stone awaken powerful talents—Warriors, Mages, Archers, Healers. But only the chosen thrive. The rest? Insects, destined to die in the shadows of heroes. Kael, a weak, ridiculed boy from a forgotten slum, awakens a talent no one understands: Necromancer—a hidden class long lost to time. Mocked, hunted, and abandoned, Kael enters an E-Rank Rift alone, where death waits at every corner. But in the darkness, he discovers the truth: his power is not weak… it is forbidden. He raises his first undead. He gains XP from the kills of his summoned army. He evolves. His skeletal commander gains intelligence. His army grows. From the bones of monsters and fallen enemies, Kael begins building a force the world has never seen. A one-man army. An undead legion. A king rising from the ashes. As Kael ascends through the ranks, secrets unravel—about the God Stones, the true nature of the world, and the ancient reason Necromancers were erased from history. Chapter 1 - The World Beyond the Stone.

In a world that mirrors Earth but exists in another plane—Arkanis—power is everything. Here, the weak are prey, and the strong carve their names into history. Cities rise behind massive barrier walls, and the sky is often streaked with the light of falling stars—beasts from the outer realm.

A century ago, the God's Stone descended.

It was a gift… or a curse.

When a child turns fifteen, they are brought to the God's Stone—a floating crystal of divine energy. If chosen, the crystal awakens their class and grants them a Status Screen visible only to them. The day of awakening is a festival for some, and a funeral for others.

The awakened are divided into categories:

Warriors, the front-line titans who cleave monsters with burning blades.

Mages, wielders of fire, lightning, ice, and forbidden sorcery.

Archers, whose arrows pierce even a dragon's eye.

Healers, rare and sacred, who mend the broken and revive the fallen.

And finally… the Hidden Talents—so rare they are myths. Unknown, unpredictable, and often dangerous.

Those not chosen by the Stone become Normal Humans—powerless, defenseless, discarded. Called "Insects", they live in fear, working menial jobs, always hiding when monsters invade.

The world of Arkanis is scarred by Dimensional Rifts, which open randomly across lands and skies.

From these rifts spill Monsters—twisted, nightmarish creatures born from chaos itself. Each rift has a Level (F to SSS) and must be cleared by corresponding ranked teams. Failure to clear a rift in time leads to a Monster Stampede—a flood of beasts that destroys entire cities.

Cores – used for power, weapons, or magic.

XP – absorbed directly into the body to level up.

Rare Materials – for crafting or trading.

The stronger the monster, the more power it gives.

In the city of Velhym, crowds gather at the Awakening Temple. Fifteen-year-olds stand in line, trembling in excitement and fear.

One boy stands at the end, head lowered, clothes torn. His name: Kael.

"Trash like him should just leave," someone mutters.

Kael clenches his fists. He has no father, no money, and no status. But inside, a fire burns.

One by one, the teens step forward and touch the God's Stone. Blue lights shine. Class names echo.

"Warrior!"

"Mage!"

"Healer!"

Then Kael steps forward.

He touches the crystal.

Silence.

The crystal dims.

"No response," says the priest. "He's not chosen. Move aside."

The crowd laughs. Kael turns, trying not to cry—but something pulls him back. A shadow forms within the crystal. A black glyph, unseen by others, pulses once.

[Class: Necromancer – Hidden Talent]

Kael gasps.

A cold voice echoes in his mind:

"You have been chosen by death itself. Rise, harbinger of souls."

No one sees the screen that flashes before his eyes.

Name: Kael

Class: Necromancer (Hidden)

Level: 1

Skills Unlocked:

Soul Absorption

Bone Blade

Raise Lesser Dead (Locked)

Kael steps back, playing the fool. He pretends to be normal. But in his heart, he knows—

This world has thrown him to the bottom.

Now he will climb from hell, and shake the heavens.

The sun dipped below the jagged walls of Velhym, casting long shadows over the slums where Kael lived. Dust filled the air, and the stench of sweat and hopelessness lingered. Here, the unwanted thrived—normal humans, or as the world called them, insects.

Kael sat alone on a rooftop, staring at the Status Screen only he could see.

Class: Necromancer (Hidden)

Level: 1

XP: 0 / 100

Skill: Soul Absorption – Active

Skill: Bone Blade – Locked

Talent Trait: Unknown

He clenched his fists.

"What kind of power is this?" he whispered. "Necromancer... does it even matter?"

Everyone feared necromancers in legends—evil, cursed, dangerous. But no one had seen a real one in centuries. Perhaps it was a joke from the gods. A punishment.

In the market streets, Kael walked quietly with a sack of rotten bread. Suddenly, someone kicked it from his hand.

"Still pretending to be human, trash?"

It was Dren, a young awakened Warrior from a minor noble family. Strong, arrogant—and cruel.

Kael kept his head low. "I don't want trouble."

Dren grinned and stepped closer. "Trouble found you when you were born, insect."

He punched Kael in the stomach, knocking him to the dirt. Blood spilled from his lip. The crowd watched silently. No one interfered. Normal humans weren't worth it.

But then—

"That's enough."

A calm, clear voice rang out.

A girl stepped between them. Her uniform was clean, white trimmed with gold. A silver sword rested at her hip.

"Lay another finger on him, and I'll cut it off."

Dren scowled. "Miss Lyra… This trash isn't worth your time."

Lyra didn't blink. "Neither are you."

She offered Kael her hand.

He hesitated—then took it.

The crowd scattered. Dren cursed and walked away, burning with shame.

The Girl with Silver Eyes

"Why did you help me?" Kael asked as they walked.

Lyra didn't smile. "You didn't look away. Even when he hit you, you kept your eyes on him. That takes strength."

Kael didn't know how to respond.

She continued, "My father always said... Sometimes, power hides in strange places."

Kael looked away. If she knew what kind of power was hiding inside him, would she still help?

That night, a Level E Rift opened near the outskirts of Velhym. A routine cleanup, or so they thought. A squad of D-Rank awakeners went to clear it.

But something went wrong.

Suddenly, the Rift turned unstable, shifting toward D-Rank.

Monsters spilled into the farmlands.

The guards were overwhelmed.

And Kael—desperate to prove himself—ran toward the chaos.

The First Kill

He hid behind a broken cart, watching as a twisted beast—like a wolf with armor-plated bones—dragged a wounded soldier.

Kael's hands trembled.

Skill: Soul Absorption – Ready

You must kill with your own hands.

He grabbed a jagged piece of metal.

Heart pounding. Breath shallow.

He leapt forward and stabbed the beast in the eye. It roared, flailed, then collapsed.

You have slain a Level 5 Bone Hound.

XP gained: 70

Soul Absorbed: Yes.

Level Up: 2

Skill Unlocked: Bone Blade

Kael gasped as black mist swirled around him. His veins burned, and a cold whisper filled his ears.

"The first soul has been claimed…"

He stood, hands shaking—but smiling.

"Maybe this power… is more than I imagined."

The forest Rift loomed like a scar on the edge of Velhym. Its jagged purple edges pulsed with energy, and a strange, bitter wind blew from within.

This was an E-Rank Rift, weak enough that official guilds ignored it—leaving it as a "training ground" for fresh awakeners. But for Kael, it was a battlefield. A place where he would rise… or die.

He stood before it alone.

Name: Kael

Class: Necromancer (Hidden)

Level: 2

Skills:

Soul Absorption

Bone Blade

Raise Lesser Dead (Locked)

XP: 70 / 200

"Just three more levels…" he whispered. "I need to reach Level 5. Then maybe... I can unlock real power."

He clenched his fists and stepped into the rift.

Inside the Rift

The world shifted.

The trees here were twisted and bone-white. The sky was a dark green void. In the distance, howls echoed.

Kael had no sword. No armor. Only a rusty dagger, his will, and a hidden class no one believed in.

Bone Blade – Active

Kael summoned it.

Dark mist gathered in his hand, forming a jagged black blade of fused bone and death energy. It felt light… but alive.

The moment he gripped it, the forest responded.

From the mist, a creature lunged—a Gnarlbeast, crawling with disease and bone spikes.

Kael dodged—barely.

He slashed. The Bone Blade hissed, carving deep into the monster's neck.

It screeched and tried to flee.

Kael chased it, heart pounding, dodging, slashing, bleeding. After a long, brutal fight—

You have slain a Level 6 Gnarlbeast.

XP gained: 60

Level Up: 3

You are learning through suffering. Skill mastery increased.

Kael collapsed beside the corpse, chest heaving.

"Only… two more levels…"

Kael didn't leave the Rift for five days.

He built a crude shelter under a hollow tree. His food ran out by day two. He began roasting monster meat over a weak flame—sickening, but necessary.

Every night, he trained.

Every day, he fought.

His body bruised, cut, exhausted.

But each time he stood up, he was stronger.

He began studying monster patterns—ambush points, blind spots. He timed his attacks. Let them bleed before finishing them.

And most importantly—he began using Soul Absorption to its limit.

Every soul consumed gave him a whisper. Some screamed, some wept, and some… taught him.

One soul, a fallen warrior, whispered battle stances in his dreams. Another, a cursed beast, showed him how to move silently.

You have absorbed 10 souls. Memory Fragment Unlocked.

[Necromancer Trait Activated: Death Memory Library – 1%]

Kael's eyes began to glow faint violet in the dark.

On the fifth night, Kael faced a mini-boss—a skeletal knight with burning green eyes.

It attacked with fury, speed, and intelligence.

Kael was overwhelmed.

He bled.

He fell.

But he smiled.

"I needed something like you," he said, coughing blood.

He lured the knight into a trap—ropes, spikes, and the burning remains of three other corpses.

As it leapt

Bone Blade – Overcharge Mode Activated.

Kael poured all his death energy into the blade. It shattered on impact—but pierced the knight's skull.

Silence.

Then

You have slain Undead Guardian (Mini-Boss).

XP gained: 250

Level Up: 4 → 5

Skill Unlocked: Raise Lesser Dead

Kael fell to his knees, laughing.

"I did it."

He opened his hand.

The soul of the undead knight hovered before him, swirling.

Would you like to raise this soul?

[Y/N]

Kael whispered, "Yes."

Black flames surged.

And for the first time, a summoned skeleton knight knelt before him, blade drawn.

"Your will… is my command, Master."

Kael stood slowly, eyes glowing in the dark.

He wasn't alone anymore.

Kael stood in the twisted woods of the E-Rank Rift, his eyes wide with awe and dark excitement. Before him knelt his first creation—a skeletal knight wreathed in black mist, armored in tattered steel.

It had once been a powerful undead guardian. Now, it bowed to him.

[Unit Raised: Skeleton Commander]

Rank: Elite Minion

Skills:

Bone Slash

Command Lesser Undead

Shield Wall

Loyalty: Absolute

XP: 150 / 200

Kael's heart pounded. This wasn't some weak puppet. This was a leader, capable of controlling other skeletons.

He opened his Necromancer Interface—a strange black window in his vision, unique to his class.

Undead Controlled: 1 / 5 (Base Limit)

Special Unit: Skeleton Commander – Command Slot 1

Available Corpses: 7

Skill: Raise Lesser Dead – Ready

Kael turned to the scattered remains of the monsters he'd killed.

Gnarlbeasts. Bone Hounds. Plague Rats.

He grinned. "Let's see what you can do."

Army of the Fallen

He stretched out his hand, dark mist spilling from his palm.

Raise Lesser Dead – Cast!

Bones twisted, rattled, and formed into ghastly shapes.

Within seconds, six skeletal monsters stood upright, glowing with faint green eyes.

The Skeleton Commander turned and growled a command in a language Kael didn't understand—but his soul did.

The skeletons snapped to formation.

Two in front, three at the flanks, one at the rear.

Undead Controlled: 5 / 5

[Commander Ability Activated: Unit Formation – Basic Tactics]

Kael's jaw dropped.

"These aren't just mindless undead," he muttered. "They follow formation… tactics… they evolve."

He walked among them, feeling no fear.

Each skeleton responded instantly to his mental thoughts.

"Sit."

They sat.

"Circle me."

They marched in a perfect ring.

"Attack that tree."

They pounced, shredding bark and branches in seconds.

Kael laughed, a raw, shocked sound.

"Maybe… I can build more than an army. I can build an empire.

The Commander's Growth

Kael checked the Skeleton Commander's screen again.

XP: 150 / 200

Next Level: 5 (New Skill Unlock)

"If I feed it more… it levels up like me," Kael whispered. "It grows stronger. Learns. Adapts."

He had an idea.

"Commander," he said aloud, "lead your squad. Hunt monsters in the eastern forest. Bring me back bones and cores."

The commander let out a cold snarl and turned. The skeleton squad faded into the dark mist between the trees, moving with terrifying coordination.

Kael sat back, grinning.

"I don't have to do everything alone anymore."

He reached into his inventory—looted from fallen awakeners—and pulled out a torn black cloak. It suited him.

He tied it around his shoulders and stood tall beneath the twisted canopy.

A Dangerous Thought

For the first time in his life, Kael didn't feel weak.

No longer a powerless insect. No longer alone.

The Necromancer talent wasn't just a hidden class.

It was a kingdom hidden in the shadows.

An army that wouldn't sleep.

A power that couldn't die.

He looked toward the blood-colored rift sky and whispered:

"I will not bow to this world. One day… this world will bow to me."

The wind howled through the twisted rift forest, but Kael felt nothing but anticipation.

He sat cross-legged beneath a warped tree, focusing his mind, letting the cold mist swirl around him. His thoughts were sharp. Controlled.

Minutes passed.

Then—

Ding!

Your undead have slain: Bone Hound (Level 6), Gnarlbeast (Level 5), Plague Rat Pack (Level 4)...

XP Gained: 80 + 70 + 60 + 55 + 90 + 75 + 65 + 120...

Soul Absorbed Automatically: 8

Level Up: 5 → 6 → 7

You have reached Level 7. New Skill Unlocked: Death Pulse

Kael's eyes snapped open.

A rush of dark energy surged through his veins like cold lightning.

His body shook—but it wasn't pain.

It was power.

New Trait Bonus: Command Limit +3 (Total: 8 Undead Units)

Skill Unlocked: Death Pulse – A shockwave of corrupted energy damages all enemies in range.

Kael stood, laughing breathlessly.

"They hunted… on their own. And I get the XP."

His hand clenched into a fist. "This class… is broken."

The Return of the Commander

Moments later, the forest trembled.

The Skeleton Commander emerged from the trees, flanked by his squad—though now, one was dragging another monster's corpse behind them like a trophy.

All undead were slightly different now. Sharper bones. Darker auras.

But the Commander... He had changed the most.

His bone armor had grown thicker. A faint, blood-red core pulsed in his chest. And when he stepped forward, Kael felt a strange pressure, as if the air had grown heavy.

[Skeleton Commander – Level Up!]

Level: 5 → 6

New Trait Unlocked: Evolved Core (Rare)

Skill Unlocked: Command Roar – Boosts all undead stats within range by 10%

XP: 20 / 300

Kael read the updated status and his smile grew cold.

"You're evolving just like me…"

He walked forward and laid a hand on the Commander's skull.

The undead didn't move—but Kael could feel it: a spark of intelligence forming inside.

Not just a puppet.

Not just a tool.

A loyal general in the making.

An Army Begins to Form

With his increased command limit, Kael raised three more undead.

Two skeletal wolves and a beastlike undead with broken horns and a twisted face. They bowed the moment they rose.

Undead Controlled: 8 / 8

Commander Bond: Stable

Formation Slot: Ready for Upgrade

The Skeleton Commander growled once, and the entire formation shifted.

Tighter. Sharper. Prepared for war, not just hunting.

Kael's thoughts spiraled.

"If I keep leveling… if I find stronger corpses… if I raise awakened ones eventually…"

His breath quickened.

"I can build a legion."

That night, as Kael rested in the misty shelter of the Rift, he heard it again:

A whisper in the dark.

"You walk the path of the dead… deeper than any before you."

He sat up, startled.

"The world will call you monster. But the dead… will call you Master."

Kael grinned in the shadows.

"Then let them call me monster."
