Chapter One
"Out of the Darkness

The river has become shallow. Because of this, grass has begun to grow through the stones. This place was once pleasing to the eye, but now it only causes disgust.
Previously, thanks to the river, it was possible to get to a small train station by boat. Now that the water has receded, the journey to the station has become long and inconvenient.
Interior. Alley of snack bars and cafes "Hunger and Food"
Evening. The buildings of snack bars and cafes are destroyed. Not a single light can be seen anywhere. Usually, the lights come on with the onset of evening, but judging by the state of the street, they have not been lit here for a long time. The chapel named "44" rotates around its axis, and the interior inside is changing.
Interior. Baths "Hot Water for Ghosts"
The surroundings are deserted and quiet, the bushes and trees that used to give off a wonderful aroma are trampled or broken.
However, life is in full swing inside the building. Smoke is pouring out of the chimney, and ghostly figures are scurrying back and forth inside the building - these are the staff of the baths for ghosts.
Chapel "44" makes a full turn again. And we find ourselves on the street "Hunger and Food" again.

We walk along a dark alley, and it again leads us to the street of restaurants "Hunger and Food". Part of the street is destroyed. Signs are visible on restaurants and cafes: "Three Thousand Eyes", "Raw", "Fat", "Sky", "Hunger and Food", "Hunger is Behind", "Sky is a Man", "Intimate is Allowed". All the signs are in Japanese. There is only one cafe open in this alley, but its lanterns are dimmed so that the Faceless One cannot see it in the dark.
Interior. Bathhouse extension. Late evening
The boiler room door opens and grandfather Kamazi's long arm sticks out. The arm extends further and further. Something is clenched in the fist. Finally, the arm rises into the sky and the palm unclenches. There were 999 cranes in the palm. Multi-colored cranes fly across the blue evening sky. They are made of paper, but once they rise into the sky, they spread their wings and become huge. The size of the cranes is comparable to the size of a helicopter or an airplane.
One of the cranes, made by someone very carelessly, falls onto the meadow right into the grass by the gate.
Two people, a boy and a girl, come out of the gate that leads from the human world to the Ghost Park. It is clear that the boy feels confident, but the girl does not like it here. A curious crane lifts its head from the grass to see who is so brave that it dared to enter the ghost park, especially so late at night. The girl lifts her head, and the moonlight falls on the elastic band that holds her hair together. The elastic band shimmers with precious sparkles.

The green meadow shimmers with different colors in the moonlight thanks to the girl's magic hair tie, and the crane in the grass is clearly visible. The curious crane rises silently and smoothly above the meadow, and then flies into the girl's pocket, at first it is afraid, but then it becomes bolder and looks out of the pocket.
Interior. Sky over the ghost park
The sky lights up with a million bright colors, and ghosts arrive at the ghost park on cranes. The area in front of the "Hot Water for Ghosts" bathhouse suddenly turns into an airfield. However, the cranes land one after another, no one pushes, everything is decorous and noble, with bows. Workers are already waiting for the ghosts at the door of the bathhouse. Music is playing, the sound of tom-toms, loud conversations, laughter. The ghosts are escorted inside with bows.
The chapel with the inscription "44" suddenly stops being afraid of the Faceless One and allows itself to turn on its inner heart-lantern. The heart-lantern illuminates everything around and the dry river.
Interior
Bridge. The girl Chihiro leans over the railing of the bridge, trying to understand where the music is coming from, and, losing her balance, begins to fall. The boy Haku manages to catch her. Smiling, he shakes his finger at Chihiro.

This is Jiniba's concert agency. Jiniba isn't afraid of No-Face, so her team of performers can scream at the top of their lungs. After the hot baths, the arriving ghosts will have a concert. Yubaba's sister has three concert agencies, and they all compete with each other.
